Great range of produce! I love that they are saving produce that is perfectly fine from landfill and helping farmers. It helps me to try different food and recipes too. I feel my part is important in supporting such businesses. The team take feedback really well to improve the process and I’m really happy they reuse the boxes and gel packs too.

Food is high quality, delivery is great and food is rarely bruised or damaged. Great variety but still provides the staples. Get the larger box if your family eats plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables otherwise the smaller box is a good substitute for the weekly shop. The $55 box is about $80 if not more of quality veg. I have been using them for about 4 months now.

I love the premise and love feeling good for reducing food waste. Most of the time the food quality is awesome, but I have had a few things that go off very quickly, so we prioritise what gets eaten first. It’s amazing that the small box is actually too much food for 2 people!

Feels like Christmas every time we get a Funky delivery. There are also standard fruit and veg in every box but also a mix of stuff we wouldn't normally think to buy. All the produce comes in perfect condition and neatly packed in the box. We get deliveries ever 3 weeks so its nice that some of the produce comes under-ripe so its doesn't go off. Tip for ripening avos - put them in a brown paper bag with a banana and they will ripe in a day. Thanks team at Funky Foods ! love your work

I have been receiving Funky Foods subscription produce boxes for 4 months now and have loved the entire experience. For a reasonable price, a very large box of beautiful, fresh, high quality produce arrives at my doorstep every fortnight, and the last box gets taken away for reuse! I feel like supporting Funky Foods is a wonderful thing for the environment, diverting perfectly good produce from landfill, reducing my plastic consumption in avoiding supermarket produce packaging, and is also great for my hip pocket, as the amount and variety of produce is far cheaper than buying the same at the supermarket. When I first subscribed to Funky Foods, I was worried about not being able to plan meals due to the boxes being a surprise until they arrive. I find that Funky Food strikes a perfect balance between predictability, with its standard/core items that arrive every box, and variety, with a few cool and exotic items in each box too. I have received a few surveys as well, gauging customers' reactions to boxes with more variety ingredients, and I am thrilled to see this organisation listening to its customers and responding accordingly. Our family loves Funky Food - we have recommended it to all our friends and family, many of whom are now also happy Funky Food customers.

I love the idea of getting fruit and vegetables that would possibly go to waste. Veges and fruit do last, it is very rare that items go bad before they are eaten. I believe it is value for money and you do get a good variety.

We love getting fresh groceries for great prices. We always look forward to what is in the box every fortnight. We also feel glad that the food is not going to waste.
