Basically plug and play. Once software was installed worked like a charm. Plays well with Kali IN-5's and some XLR cables.

Product was exactly as I was expecting and was in near brand new shape when I arrived. I am very pleased with the 4i4 Gen 4.
My favorite price point for affordable "quality" stuff. Their mic is better then your cheapest bm800. The headphones sound bright and airy, which means less bass but it's easier to examine what's happening on the high end.

Good sound, low latency, easy setup Need a power button. I have to disconnect the usb cable to use my regular sound setup when not doing music.
Bought a scarlet Solo Gen 3 Audio interface and it didn't work correctly from almost day one., I've only had it less than 6 months and it's the worst piece of garbage I've ever used, constantly glitchy,popping and changing buffer size randomly as I'm recording, totally messing up the recording!!!.... I spoke to their tech support team and you have to almost reconfigure everything in your computer setting just to see if it will finally work, and after all that nonsense......it still won't work properly!!!!!..... ridiculously enough I bought it through Amazon, so they sent me an email, saying I don't have a warranty because I didn't buy it through them ....but you give technical support, but no warranty for a less than 6 months old product that you make ...lol.!!!!!... STUPID!!!! to say the least. Then why do you let Amazon sell your product ??? This company seems like trash in my eye., and I've already ordered another brand from Sweetwater that I'm sure is a thousand times better than this ridiculous junk.

the product that i recently bought, a launchkey mini 25 mk4, is a worthy upgrade from my mk1 version! the look and feel of the product has improved tremendously, as well as it having the same features as compared to the other way more expensive MIDI controllers that i also have. definitely go try it out, to see if all the hype makes the launchkey mini 25 mk4 your thing...

The 4i4 3rd generation is great but of kit the bold is excellent quality of sound fantastic. The only gripe that I had with was that there was no easily readable instruction manual. But other than that it's brilliant
