Claim duurt eeeeeeuwen!

Met Play gevlogen naar Hamilton (Toronto). Prima vlucht. Terugvlucht was geannuleerd. Konden gratis omgeboekt worden naar een vlucht 2 dagen later. Kosten voor hotel/eten enz. konden we later declareren. De terugvlucht was op 2 februari. We zouden binnen 6 tot 8 weken terugbetaald worden. Na 10 weken een reactie gekregen dat we de bonnen moeten toevoegen en dat ze dan met een uitslag zouden komen. Dit terwijl de bonnen ook al in de eerdere aanvraag zaten. Vervolgens in de 12e week een mail ontvangen dat we recht hebben op een bedrag en dat het binnen 2 à 3 weken terug zouden krijgen. Daarna meerdere mails gestuurd maar niks vernomen. Inmiddels zitten we in week 25 en heb ik nog niks ontvangen. Lekkere maatschappij, op het randje van Faillisement denk ik.

Very decent Flight company for a low…

Very decent Flight company for a low cost one. Always nice flight attendants and not much of delays and last minute changes as you often find in other low cost companies!

Play is fine BUT

Play is fine BUT: the ‘low-cost’ publicity is annoying because it isn’t really that low cost, Also, in that venue it is almost inhumane that you don’t even offer water to passengers.

I booked the extra luggage for the return instead of departure flight and the staff at the airport was unable to change it across to the departure leg and I was made pay double €110 to have it added for the departure.

The chairs need upgrading

Everything with Play was good or acceptable EXCEPT for the seats! The seats were extremely uncomfortable!! Granted, I was not expecting a fully cushioned massage chair, however, the seats were very still, tight, and the legroom was almost nonexistent!

They are great

They are good. I like the.. lowcost and reasonable, supringly good food. Iceland airport is very calm during the transfer. Please keep the bwi flights going please, I use them every 2 months.

I bought an extra lugagge 10 days…

I bought an extra lugagge 10 days before the trip. The website did not tell it covered just one way, but the price was the same as the one I had paid when booking the flight. I double-checked that at the desk, before departure. The assistant told me the bagagge was back and forth. At my return, they said just one way was bought and had to paid another lugagge, at a higher price. No one from the airline to talk to. In addition, on the aircraft, for a 4:30 hours flight, not even water is provided. Worst experience ever.

I had no problems with my flight

I had no problems with my flight. Professional staff and amazing flight crew. Aircraft was clean and more comfortable then I thought. I was so happy the seats reclined!!! I was able to take my carry on bag for a small fee and a personal backpack at no extra charge. Thank you Play Airline ❤️

You get what you pay for

The flight itself was fine. Timely and no travel related issues into and out of Boston. However, you get what you pay for. Uncomfortable seats and the absolute rudest passengers ever! You pay low class, you get low class people. The children were running up and down the aisle the entire flight yelling like they were on a playground. The flight attendants did nothing to try to contain the unchecked daycare situation. One woman actually stood on the armrest of my daughter's seat to retrieve her bag in the overhead compartment while my daughter was in her seat! She literally stepped on my daughter to get her bag! When I confronted the woman, she got indignant with me. I should have had her arrested for assault when we landed, but I just wanted off of that plane so badly I didn't bother. I cannot over emphasize how rude and loud those children were (and there were lots of kids) and how awful that made the flight. The kids were running around with food, dropping it everywhere, so by the end of the 5 hour flight it looked like we had traveled in a dumpster. Again, the flight attendants did nothing. They stood in the back chatting with each other while the playground pandemonium took place. There is no first class option so you are literally stuck with the international trashy, rude, inconsiderate, entitled crap that can only afford bargain basement travel. I learned my lesson and will pay a few extra bucks on a different airline for a pleasant flight. On another note, Iceland is amazing and I did not let my Play experience ruin the truly exceptional time we had in Iceland!

Had a great experience flying from Dublin to New York. Listen, you get what you pay for seat wise - not super comfortable but not the worst. The loveliness of every single staff member I encountered made up for less leg room and seat padding. Honestly, every single person we interacted with was lovely - which is more the. I can say for any other airline I’ve ever flew. Flights were all on time and all luggage made it through!
