We had a trouble-free stay in the Seacrest area between Destin and Panama City. There were no problems with getting into the gated parking lot or the condo. Great stay, and the 30A corridor is a great place to visit.
The property was just as i aspected love my whole experience. Thanks again for your hospitality will definitely use five star again
a great property for family get to together. the bedding, number of kings along with the bunk make it ideal for family that still have kido's. the money to heat the pool was well worth it for the teenagers. the fire-pit was enjoyable for all and the outside furniture was great quality. stove and refrigerator top quality we would rent this property again and we've been coming down to this general area for 30 years

Casa Esmerelda was lovely and sparkling clean!! The location was perfect. I would only suggest more patio furniture and make sure the pool heater is on when you get there!
We chose to stay in this house because it had a heated pool and hot tub with our family while I recovered from surgery and was not able to leave the premise. The plan was I could watch my daughters swim and still be with them while convalescing. As it turns out the pool heater was broken. We made multiple calls, placed email inquiries and were not told until our trip was almost complete that “a part for the pool heater was broken and had been ordered but would not be in until after our stay was over” only to find out a new gas pool heater was actually installed the day we checked out. The pool heater was broken not a part of it. It was very disheartening to have spent so much money on a rental property only to have it not working properly. I feel the equipment should be checked before and between renters to ensure advertising is true as stated I have not had this problem when renting with other companies and for this reason would choose to not rent with fivestar again and would advise against it! This was a lovely home but I would not trust before arriving that the air conditioning or some other piece of vital equipment would be broken and they would not tell me.
I have stayed in many luxury rentals but have never encountered a rental management company as professional and responsive as Five Star. They were incredible to work with.
We have used Five Star before with success but this trip is off to a very disappointing start. We arrived and for the first two days had no cable TV or internet service. We rented Mare Maderno in Miramar, FL. Upon arrival we were all thoroughly impressed with the property and the place looked as good as the pictures on line. It is a great looking place in a great spot. Five Star was responsive and available for every call. The initial problems were resolved and our visit and enjoyment were great. On day three of our visit the owner of the property came out to speak with us and ensure that everything was to our liking and to see if there was anything additional we needed. We travel a lot and this was a first. It was a classy move and spoke volumes to us about how important it was to make sure our stay was right. I wrote an initial review that highlighted our concerns but took the time to revise it because we had a fantastic visit. This property sits on the main strip for the beach and there is constant traffic or bikers, joggers and beach goers. This property is four levels and has a commanding view of the entire area. We have stayed in this area several times and will return. I highly recommend this property.
We love staying with five star beach properties. The homes are all amazing, very clean, very high end and just beautiful. I’m a big believer you pay for what you get. We will never use another company again. Thanks for always being so good to us.
The folks at Five Star Properties did a great job with everything. Our rental was ready early, clean and tidy. We had to call them a couple times during our stay and they responded ASAP and took care of the small issues we had. Very professional.
The house and staff were great. The reason I didn’t give five stars is due to the roach infestation we discovered while there. The staff sent a pest control out immediately to address the issue. I have used this company twice in the last 60 days and by far have provided the best accommodations and customer service. Will be booking again soon.

We rented Seas the View for my daughter's wedding and it was just the perfect location! The house and Five Star Properties were fantastic! They were so kind to allow us a little extra time before check-out which was a wonderful blessing! Thanks for a great venue for our bride!
Got this house for us and our family/wedding party to stay in! It had plenty of space, was absolutely beautiful, the kids had a blast playing pool, and it’s easy to walk to the beach, if you don’t want to take the golf cart (which is also awesome). I locked us out the very first day but I called them and they helped right away! Would definitely recommend this home and hope to be able to use it again soon!
This vacation came at a time when it was most needed and Five Star did not disappoint. The home was amazing and more than we expected. We were really impressed by the golf cart and the bikes that were available to us as part of the rental it made everything very comfortable and at ease as went were out and about in Destin during a Pandemic. We loved our experience so much that we have already booked for next year.
The location of this house was perfect but the upkeep and maintenance are another story. We had some unwanted guests(cockroaches) during our visit. They company was quick to come and clean the floors I just wish they would have notified us before entering the house. The wash machine did NOT properly rinse out our clothes and when we called maintenance he couldn’t find an issue. Not having a properly working wash machine was frustrating. The bathtub jets were moldy from just lack of use. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a heated pool. I was also assured by the company that each of these issues had been resolved prior to renting the property. Anaheim great house for its location but we will not be staying there again.
The responsiveness of the agency was not good. We received an email that the pool would not be heated and it was broken. You were going to try to have it fixed before our arrival. O reached out about a new reservation as the heated pool was important to us. I never heard back. I reached out about early check in. No response. I reached out about late checkout. Received the response next morning. Disappointed in the response even though the home was beautiful.
Great condo.
Everything at this property was great except for 1 thing. The pool. I don’t know what kind of chemicals they used, but the water tarnished all silver, took the color out of our swimsuits, and burned color treated hair into dread locks. Had to cut the hair!
