Excellent products and clear information and advice
I am currently having some work done which has filled my garage and removed access to my Zappi charger. I thought about how I could extend my Zappi type 2 charging cable. I tried just plugging in a type 2 cable but that didn't work. Web resources indicated it was difficult to do and required me to cut the connector down on a Type 2 charging cable etc etc. Then I cam across the EV Cable shop who had the exact cable I needed. Order Sunday night, it arrived Tuesday and works perfectly. Brilliant! Strongly recommend them - Best price I could find as well.

A well made charging cable
Cable arrived next day as promised. Much clearer display and more features than the Kia part. Instruction manual could be a bit clearer on settings for current and timing but can find these with experimentation.

High quality, great amp selector feature.
Tried this out just to top up our EQA whilst visiting my parents. Super easy to use and it looks and feels really high quality. Doesn’t get hot or overheat at all, and the display is really handy. The main reason we opted for this charger was the amp adjuster feature. You never really know what the average home wall plug condition is! So we like the ability of being able to adjust it to ensure the house circuit is safe whilst charging (even if it does take longer!). Will just use in an emergency or on the odd occasion we know there isn’t a charge point around. Would recommend this to anyone needing a safe, reliable back up 🙂
