In a very involved process of turning over carriers, this was a subject matter expert who clearly knew their business and made sense out of a very complicated process. The way in which they explained, taught and answered my questions made it the most helpful customer service experience I've had in years. Very appreciative of the patience, the kindness but most important the process. They were amazing!
The "sign-up" was relatively easy and courteous. And the biggest benefits/value is the electricity cost savings: typically 50% savings monthly! Customer service could be improved by communicating the anticipated expiration of the contract period.
I contacted Eligo Energy to get a new rate and was quoted a great fixed rate. The representative made the process seamless.
I contacted Eligo when my 3yr fixed rate was about to expire. Electric rates in my are have more than doubled, but Eligo quoted me the lowest 3yr fixed rate available from among all participating suppliers!
My electric service was with Eligo Energy for three years and a great rate. Contract expired and was put on a variable rate , not knowing the rate. Rate went from around five cents per kWh to almost twenty cents per kWh. What a shock to get this bill !! About doubled my normal bill !! I just canceled and went to AEP OHIO’s rate. Won’t ever recommend Eligo and never will deal with them again. Watch your changes toward the end of your contract. I think I was taken advantage of !!
