Flat Mobile from DR, mixed feelings

Me and my girlfriend both have the Flat Mobile subscription from Digital Republic. The setup to get the eSim going was pretty straightforward and fast. I use the internet mostly to browse on my phone, watch videos or provide a hotspot for other devices to do the same there. The internet works quite well during the day. However, the bandwidth in the evening gets super bad so that I usually cannot watch youtube videos in 720p or stream videos on my Laptop without frequent stuttering. This is a major bummer because a big reason for me to have internet at home is to watch movies since at work I have wifi from my employer.

Unlimited package works slowly

Unlimited package works slowly, when several devices are connected the speed leaves much to be desired. I have to reboot the device several times per day for it to work properly. My phone mobile internet works much better even when I use it as a personal hotspot simultaneously for laptop and tablet. But unfortunately the battery can’t last long in that case, which is why I decided to purchase digital republic, which I expected to be much better as it really is…

Ich bin nun schon seit einigen Jahren ein sehr zufriedener Kunde bei DR. Nach einer Anfrage beim Support kam innerhalb von 2 Stunden eine kompetente und freundliche Rückmeldung und Problemlösung auf völlig unbürokratische Art. Gute Angebote und ein Super Support schliessen sich offensichtlich nicht aus. Für mich ein sehr zuverlässiger und kundenfreundlicher Anbieter.

Kaum 1% vom gekauften Stream

Ich hatte 2 Simkarten mit 10mbit/sec. Am Anfang lief alles ganz ok. Plötzlich war der Stream sehr schwach und unbrauchbar. Ich hatte nur noch 0-20kbit/sec! Wenigstens war der Kundendienst freundlich, aber helfen konnten sie auch nicht. Meine Simkarten sind im Müll.

Eine schnelle Bearbeitung des Problems und eine unkomplizierte Lösung. Die defekte Sim-Karte wurde umgehend ersetzt. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt.
