We think the condo could be better equipped. A tv in the bedroom would be useful. We purchased and left in the condo two laundry baskets. We appreciate the view and find that a real benefit.

The condo at Sugar Beach was well appointed and updated. Great vacation. We’ll be back.

Very professional, friendly and accommodating rental agency. It was a pleasure working with them. As a matter of fact I already made a reservation for next year.

We were shocked at the reception from the person at registration. We were a little early and it was obviously frustrating for her. We came back to the same. Not a person who should be in customer service or reception. The condo was cleaned before we came but was still dirty. An old feather falling to pieces on the wall, dusty pictures and old and dirty room accents. The rug under the coffee table should literally be thrown in the trash. It's a light brown color because it's dirty. Stains everywhere. Sticky floors as well. This is a run down, dirty, stained condo that needs a thorough cleaning, some light maintenance and a touch of paint.

Thanks, Maui Kamaole was a fantastic vacation rental condo. We visited during New Year's, a peak season. Even still the condo building was quiet, convenient and close to everything we wanted to see and do on Maui. The pool facilities were really nice with 2 pools to choose from, hot tub, and extremely nice landscaping, gardens, lanais, cookout and lawn areas. The management service struck just the right balance of 'low-touch' but 'high-availability'. The rules are strict, but it's what I would want if I was an owner. Wish I was ;) Thanks!

The condo management company CRH is a very easy company to deal with. They answered any questions I had, as well as sending notifications of upcoming reservations to remind us of the final payment and reservation confirmation. Pretty simple.

not a good fit

The location is excellent, love the gardens nicely maintained, kitchen supplies good & if something is missing housekeeping gets it for your unit. Quiet, except if someone above our unit wheres shoes &goes back & forth allot day & night. Not so much commercial businesses to close but not far. Charla, our agent at Comdominium Rentals Hawaii for decades, is fabulous!!!!

The online booking process with Vanda was exceptional! She gets 5 stars! Directions well written, late check in was quite fine but Hale Kamaole could update its Documents box (tis quite finicky). My unit looked very lovely. **My Unit (PRODUCT) gets 2.5 STARS. I've lived extensively in many tropical places. On arrival I put my purse on kitchen counter, flipped on light; cockroaches skittered out of garburator/sink. Opening cutlery drawer same thing. Killed 6-10 each night. Next day, 3 traps were brought over and bleach poured down garb/sink to quell the smell. I dealt with these pests the whole vacay. Quite disappointing that this unit hadn't been treated in too long(pest control never arrived over my 10 days). In my opinion, ditch the garburator and treat the plumbing of sink, DW, and inside entire peninsula. And address the tiny non-biting ants on counters kitchen and bath. Bleach or hyd. peroxide, and floor mop on site, would have been appreciated. Bed/furniture very comfortable, thanks.

This is a convenient and ideal location beachfront! My family rented five units in this complex. The building looks a bit worn but the units are almost all nice except PH36 which is the one I had for me and my husband. It is very worn and dated with stained carpet. However, CRH worked to try to get us moved. Unfortunately nothing was available so they gave us a refund on part of the rate. This was much appreciated.

Booking online & checking in made easy. Very good about responding to questions in a timely manner. We had maintenance issues in our condo this last visit and our requests were handled very quickly and the issues fixed immediately. Will continue to use CRH in the future.

The condo was very nicely furnished, sunny with the beautiful view of the ocean. Relatively expensive, but over all excellent.

Great, well-stocked, clean, and nicely located condo. All amenities you can imagine inside. Comfortable and spacious. Management was very responsive when we got locked out. No issues at all. Would definitely return.
