I booked Cozy Meal for a 60th birthday gift for my hubs 3 months in advance. We traveled 1.5 hours on a Saturday and ran into a series of unfortunate events that would have caused us to be more than 30 minutes late. When I realized this, I immediately attempted to contact Cozy Meal. The phone number was voicemail only and the email was ineffective. When I was able to explain in detail about the unavoidable situation, and get a returned email on Monday, I was told there was nothing that could be done. That is a slap in the face for a $200 event. I’m so disappointed.

Tried twice to get something from this site— oversells what it can deliver. Get a gift elsewhere.

No great— claims they have things that they really don’t.

Chef Christmas is the best chef I've ever met! The baking class was so much fun and the highlight of our visit in Houston. I can't wait to book with her again when we are back. Thank you again Chef Christmas.

I received a Cozymeal gift card. Super easy to use. Loved the online cooking class (they also sent me a kit) and I used the rest of the credit from the gift card in their shop and got a nice knife set.

I booked a cooking class + market tour with chef James in San Francisco and LOVED it! Chef James shared some insightful tips with me and my boyfriend. The booking process was simple and the website is very user friendly.

I recently booked a cooking class with Chef Chris through Cozymeal for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it exceeded all of our expectations! From start to finish, Chef Chris was warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about every dish we made. The recipes were not only delicious but surprisingly easy to follow, making the whole experience fun and engaging. As an added bonus, we were treated to an amazing opera performance by Chef Chris’ talented partner, which made the evening even more special. If you're looking for a unique and interactive date idea, I highly recommend Cozymeal. This was a 10/10 experience and I would gladly book again!

I received a Cozymeal gift certifcate from my sons for Christmas and I am SO sorry they wasted their hard-earned money on this flop. “Chef” Tiffany was also late coming bringing a bag full of groceries from Aldi - yes Aldi, the cheapest grocery chain you can shop at. My guests were given two, small (as in one bite) lamb chops and my fillet had such much pepper on it I couldn’t eat it. We asked for medium rare and got well done. The broccoli was simply boiled in water and the “crab” mac’n cheese had no crab She used every pan I had, and banged around in the kitchen so much we couldn’t talk in the next room. The topper to the whole evening was when she was baking the soufffle’ it ran over, causing my oven to smoke and set off the fire alarm. TOTAL FREAKING DISASTER

This chef prepared meal was a disaster. The chef was 35 minutes late, dinner was not as advertised, and he left the kitchen a disaster, grease everywhere, dirty pots put away, etc. This was to be a celebratory retirement dinner for a recently retired military officer. What an embarrassment and disaster.

I chose a good chef on Cozymeal, and, to my surprise, I found a couple of other customers at his house who seemed to have come out of the slums, rude, and never seen at this level. Cozymeal accepts anyone without the slightest attention to who books. Given the current times, Cozymeal should find a way to verify who is booking in the interest of other clients and the chef. But Cozymeal doesn't because they don’t care. They don't give a damn.

Chefs are talented and professional, the company is interested only in bottom line.

Communication is not great on this website. I understand there will be a delay from request for an event to response, but reaching out to support to ask what typical timing is clearly irritated them. Um, that's precisely what support is for. The concept is good, not yet quite deliverable in all markets clearly. Worst part? Even though the chef we requested declined the date & time - that was listed in this chef's own available times for request - Cozy Meal went ahead and ran a charge through our credit card. Seriously - what??! I'll expect that charge to be gone by end of week or a dispute will happen, but they seem to have a lot of hiccups to work out in what seems could be a fairly simple schedule-based service.
