I have been trying to sort my problem…

I have been trying to sort my problem for 2 weeks with no luck. I spoke to lovely lady today called Jo. She was the most helpful person i have spoken to so far, and although she could not resolve my problem she has done everything possible to get the persons that can deal with my problem to do so. So i rate Jo at 5 stars for her help, patience and commitment to helping me as a customer.

Used consultive to switch energy…

Used consultive to switch energy supplier and saved on my current contract rates. Both Graeme Marrs and Craig Portsmouth were very helpful and the switch is seamless and easy.

Really easy to work with

Would 100% recommend this company

Would 100% recommend this company - such a friendly approachable team - they have been amazing every step of the way with my business utility needs, from finding me the best deals, to supporting me with any issues that arise (like my energy company incorrectly billing me and causing huge problems!) Great Communication and advice

Gavin Addison helped us secure a refund of over £4k from our utility company for incorrect charges. As a small charity, this was very welcome. All communication with Consultiv Utilities has been clear, accurate, and helpful, and they are now looking after our energy accounts going forward.

Great service

Paul was such a great help to us when switching electricity suppliers. Especially as our existing supplier was a real nightmare to deal with. Paul took the lead, was reassuring, went above and beyond and was very understanding. He was also really efficient by way of replies and keeping me updated.

Switching from SSE

When we switched from SSE it was a nightmare. They changed the meter at the same time and continued sending us bills (some of which arrived and some didnt) which affected our credit rating. The new company based their bills on estimates provided by SSE but hadnt bothered to take a meter reading on the new meter. Jo Arries from ColsultivUtilities sorted out the nightmare for us. Absolutely fantastic service!

Disappointed by Conduct and Pressure Tactics During Dispute

We are a small healthcare organisation currently in a formal dispute with Consultiv Utilities over a substantial default fee for a contract that never went live. Despite no service being received, they are aggressively pursuing payment. Our new supplier confirmed there was no conflict or objection at the time of switch, suggesting the brokered contract was not properly secured. Consultiv refused to issue a deadlock letter and began issuing legal threats instead of engaging in any form of genuine dialogue. We are escalating the matter to the Energy Ombudsman. Other reviewers appear to have had similar experiences, we urge caution before entering into any agreement. UPDATE: In response to Consultiv’s reply, I want to clarify that I have not accepted liability for any breach of contract, nor did I knowingly agree to a duplicate supply. The gas supply was taken over by another supplier without any objection or warning from ENGIE or Consultiv at the time. I continue to dispute the claim and have raised this matter with the Energy Ombudsman. My concerns remain focused on the lack of communication, the disproportionate fee being pursued, and the pressure applied rather than constructive engagement. Others considering similar services should seek clear, documented guidance before proceeding with broker agreements.
