My daughter is year 10 and finding keeping up in class much easier. The Tutor is very good at explaining things and provides extra tools to help with understanding. Also being able to have tutor at home is easier to manage.

My son has been receiving weekly tutoring from Cluey now for a few months. In that time, we've had the occasional tutor change but for the most part we've been happy with the tutors supplied and will continue to receive assistance for our son. He was a bit shy at first but now is very engaged in the sessions and is finding the revision of his class work helpful for the retention of the concepts learned at school. He is not great with attentive classroom learning, so we find the one-on-one Cluey sessions are more suited to his learning type.

The process is very easy and flexible. We were able to choose a tutor who seemed like a good fit for my son's needs, there were plenty of convenient times available and the platform was simple to use. The tutor was friendly and engaging which has helped motivate my son.

I was unsure about getting tutoring as I wasn’t sure about online or taking him somewhere. As soon as we walked in I knew I had made the right decision. It was great, very friendly and the kids are all super happy learning.

It is quite difficult, if not impossible to get any customer service support. There is no contact phone number, the chat function doesn't connect to a human to assist and cancellation action does not occur within their stated time frames. First session experience was the tutor entered the session over 10 mins late, engaged in discussing how tired they were instead of engaging in learning activities to then end the session early. Definitely does not live up to the advertised services and quality. Still awaiting for my request to cancel to be actioned above their service time frame.

Scam! Customer support is terrible. Cluey maintains that it has telephone support between 9-6 Monday- Friday whereas the best you can hope for is a call back within 24-48 hours. I’ve lodged an ACCC report about that aspect as it seems like many others have had a similar experience. The reason I was TRYING to contact them is to un-enrol from sessions that I didn’t enrol in the first place. Including. Session during school hours. Up shot is $624 taken from my account when what we asked for was 3 intensive sessions over the school holidays to review prior to term starting.

We trialled one session. I couldn't see any evidence that there are tutors based in our state which is a problem as each state has a completely different curriculum. The automated system makes the experience very impersonal. It was difficult to message anyone to ask for help. I wouldn't recommend for anyone outside of NSW. If in NSW, it would probably work ok.
