Bad software and connection problems
I lose at least 5 percent of my speed games on chessclub.com because of the poor software and connection problems. When grabbing a piece at the lower end of the board, the board will resize and by the time I return it to the original size I lose enough time to lose the game. While in the middle of a game the board will reset to the original setup position, and and I will lose on time from having to reconnect. Sometimes my clock ticks but I can't make a move causing me to lose on time. Sometimes my opponents move doesn't show up, so any move I make might cost me the game. Lots of bizarre things go on that cost me games.
