Achieved trouble free sale of my Lomax 223
Buyers beware On collection the car wasn't as described. The car needs a full respray. Pics of the car were taken and sent to car & classic. Nothing has been done. This is now in the hands of my solicitors. Stay clear

I advertised my Harley Davidson FLHRS on Car & Classic on a Sunday afternoon, and it sold for the full asking price and was ridden away the very next day! Selling a defender and ran the free CC add back to back with a paid for Autotrader add. No response from one and multiple calls from the other…. CC wins! Messaging function with potential buyers was also great.

Bonjour, j'ai plusieurs remarques : 1 avant les enchères je n'ai pas pensé contacter l'assistance CarsandClassic. 2 après l'enchère gagnante les informations fournies sont claires et le fait de pouvoir contacter une personne dans sa propre langue est un gros plus. 3 l'assistance en français est très efficace et aimable. 4 le processus en général est bien fait. 5 seul problème la rédaction de l'annonce. En effet dans le texte il n'ai pas mentionné que la voiture fonctionne et roule normalement, ce qui est très anxiogène compte tenu des conditions générales de C&C.
From the outset Guy Beattie was a great help. Very professional and giving sound advice. The photographer was also very professional taking a significant number of photo's and video's to help advertising the car. Within 2 hours of the buyer and me as the seller confirming change of ownership the money was in my account.

This is the second time I have purchased on C&C and if it was not just for one little niggle with the process I would give them 5 stars. The niggle is not even C&C's responsibility. My bank, NatWest, actually refused to pay my money into the escro account. I had to transfer my money into my wife's Nationwide account and they had a 'I accept the risk' button to push on-line. I suggest that C&C make a short document that buyers can use to convince NatWest (maybe others) that the Escro account process protects the buyer.
I found Car and Classic Auctions to be very professional and efficient. As a first time seller, they gave good advice and made selling my bike very easy. I would highly recommend Car and Classic to anyone and will definitely use them again.
