Absolutely useless. Waited in the garden section for 15 min. Had to ask for assistance from a store employee who saw us, that was on her phone. She said she could "maybe" get someone. And came back and said no one can't help. No customer service or support. Even the manager laughs in your face if you have a complaint

March was my birthday month, and every year (to my surprise) I get a voucher from Builders Warehouse to spend and receive discount. It is such an awesome gift, as there is ALWAYS something you want or need from Builders Warehouse. Thanks so very much!

Is it not funny how you always ask ,How can the company improve,yet you do not even bother. Builders Kempton Park has the most annoying,self-entitled,rude and unprofessional assistants. This is not the first time I received a horrible service at this warehouse.They are very overstaffed but when you need Assistant you have to make efforts,run after them to assist. I wanted bags od cements,and a couple of doors, they were too quick to take my money,let me wait there for 48 minutes, STANDING,WITH HBP,and I was dizzy. No one bothered to assist,until I got annoyed and went back to the cashier to ask why am I waiting for so long, HER response was,"I work as a cashier, you must go outside,look for the guys wearing overalls to come and assist you." When I looked outside,they're were two guys with same workouts, and I asked,who can help me,I need bags of cements and doors loaded on the car outside. One guy said to me,"We are busy,you will wsit and when we are done loading we will come check your doors". An hour passed, if I did not leave that shop when I did,took my money back,I would have collapsed because when I arrived at home,my BP readings were 187/116 It is disgusting to be treated like you owe the shoo when you are paying your hard earned money

From their in-store experience to their online experience I can only praise builders for getting it right (most of the time). All of my orders have arrived early and I am a happy customer. The only reason a star is lost is my in-store interactions are often a waste of time where staff are either unable to help or do not give the right advice.

Good day. What an absolutely terrible service at the Board section at Builders Warehouse Tableview.If there was an option to give less than 1,I would. Placed an order for boards and board cutting on the 6th Dec 2024.Was promised that they will be ready for collection in a week’s time. They were not ready in a week and was promised that by the 20th and still to no avail. I went back to them in the first week January and was promised that the boards will be ready the next week..which they were,however,some not cut properly to size. I then had to purchase another board so that boards can be cut to size. I was promised within a day the job will be completed..went back the following day,the following week and the third week and the cut boards were still not completed. Until today,no call from them and still have not received my boards.

Buildersware House Northriding - The worst customer service experience I have EVER had The worst customer service experience I have EVER had at BWH Northriding I own a company that builds sets for the movie/tv industry. I have a number of drivers on the road at any given time and I purchase from BWH Northriding (mostly) One of our drivers had lost a slip and I needed to get a reprint. As, I buy for various production houses, I am unable to buy on my BWH account, as the slip cannot be in my company name - these slips are handed to the production company. Upon arrival at BWH, I explained the situation to Lebogang (customer care representative), she told me that I needed to get an account (not listening to anything I said, with regards the slips and company name) I reiterated that I have numerous drivers out buying for different companies. She then told me that I should train my drivers better. At this point I was managing to stay calm, but it wasn't easy. I asked her if she was willing to assist me, and she rep**** that "this is the last time that I am doing this" - considering that I have not ever been to her for assistance, my patience was wearing thin. Still keeping my cool, I asked her what she needed from me, to be able to assist me. She rep**** that she needed the date, the amount and what I had bought. All of which I was able to give her. She then laughed at me and told me that I need to give her the barcode or she would not help me. At this point I had had enough and asked to see a manager, she informed me that she was the manager. I told her that I was not prepared to deal with her anymore and that I wanted to speak to someone more senior. At this point Reuben (Manager) came over, as I was busy talking to Reuben, Lebogang walked over, slammed a piece of paper on the counter and said "there is your slip". She did not care that I was mid-sentence with Reuben. She rudely interrupted. As someone who has done Customer Care training, I was shocked that this is the calibre of person employed to deal with customers. Lebogang does not have the right personality to be able to effectively hold this position and I would go so far as to say, that she is a bully. She enjoyed our interaction and the more frustrated I became, the more she was enjoying it. I hope BWH takes the time to properly investigate this and address it, as I have NEVER been spoken to like this, in a store before.

Nandi drive . Absolutely pathetic service . No one to assist . Have to call on them and when they finally arrive no interest in helping . When you ask for an opinion on different brands knowledge is either limited or just not interesting in answering .disgusting attitude. Pls do better builders . staff should be trained to deal with customers and also to have knowledge on the different brands and how to assist customers in making that final decision.

The service I received from Sibelo at Builders Margate was exceptional. He was friendly, courteous and helpful. He went out of his way to find what I needed and also alerted me to the special that day.

When you order items it gets delivered in bits and pieces. Some items you don't get but it is marked as delivered. It is really bad service

I am constantly getting scam spam emails from this company and they do nothing about it! DISGUSTING!

Becareful of Builders you use in Grahamstown /Makhanda A builder is not a carpenter and should not put in quotes for carpentry, electrical etc. I am left with a rubbish kitchen that is not even finished and it looks like I am to blame. Get your builders from out of town far away

Builders warehouse is by far the worst company to deal with. I'm being sent from pillar to post regarding my refund and every agent promises to escalate and call be back but they never get anywhere. After nearly a month of calls, emails,reviews and everything in between I'm now told that they have refunded me and that I used the funds to make another purchase. But they cannot tell me who made the purchase, when, or what was bought because I know I'm never buying from them again! Absolutely pathetic service. I am tired

The stuff at polokwane Builders were amazing, really enjoyed their service. Everything is easily accessible at the store and easy to shop. The frosted glass spray really turned my vision into reality 😍Thank you Builders , you are my go to hardware.

Two months ago a builder employee in Craighall broke my windscreen. After 2-months we are still battling to get Builders to do anything about it. Their customer service is appalling! They say they will call you and never do, take ages to answer emails with no feedback or information what so ever. The lack of consideration and customer care is just unacceptable!

BUY FROM LEROY. SAVE STRESS AND TIME.On line Builders ware house say delivery included for geysers. Greenstone Hill Builders Express , does not come up as a a store. So the epic attempt to confirm telephonically starts. The call centre cant find the store , even though i say Jhb confirms delivery for cape,suggests, wait for it...I buy THEN they ll confirm if delivery included . I say I m sorry but I can't carry on with those conversation. Two missed calls from another no which I return hoping the Greenstone store called back, but it's the call centre. I eventually find contact details for Greenstone, who cit me off transferring, i call again and despatch answersbut cuts me off. Then there s no answer from the store no. I try again the next day. Two calls later I get to despatch who says delivery only if you buy on line. I say their store doesn't come up and ask to speak to the manager. I get put through to a guy, who when I ask if he s the store manager says he isn't. Then I get put through to an extension that just rings. I call back and leave a message for the store manager to call me. I am still waiting and buying the geyser from LEROY MERLIN. Who are honest about delivery and answer their phone.

I bought gas for my heater and its a low grade gas, when i use someone gas my heater works but when i put gas i bought at builders its not staying lit, they selling low grade gas - i bought both cylinder and gas at the same time. i am so disappointed, people must stay away from busying gas at builders.

Builder Tableview fail to comply with their refund policy. I bought product o 14 April 23 and they refuse to do delivery which cause me te cancel and request refund. To date Builders failed to pay me back despite me following up. Manager, Leo Green has patronising and stink attitude full of excuses and rediculous run arounds. He refuse to listen to the refund request and do not accept their own receipt. Builder is frustrating the process and refuse my refund. This is theft at best and fraud. Poor customer service and I will never recommend or buy from Builder again.

After all the bad service I received across the board, it is hard to ignore EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! Builders your call centre staff are by far the most competent and the service is next level. Thank you very much. They have gone above and beyond to assist with the smallest requests. I am extremely grateful and I would definitely continue to shop and recommend builders.🙂

I bought at Builders Express for R 750.00 swimmingpool articles. I did return them the next day (wrong size). They would refund me on my creditcard which i used. This never happenned, complained twice, but the answer was "you paid with a creditcard from a Dutch bank". I never received payment AND I did not get my returned articles back. Really bad!!
