Had them for 5 years. The best protection, I have never had any PC issue and im online all the time. BUTTT last year, a staff use my debit card to purchase $400 of sport betting. Thank GOD my bank USA... See more

I paid for a years subscription for the Bitdefender Digital Identity Protection. All this does is send you emais sbout stuff that is in news anyway. Plus email says that Bitdefender ran some test and no threats yo my identity. Yet there has been a major threat to myself and millions of others via an airline Qantas. Qantas has confirmed digital info has been hacked, yet Bitdefender Digital Identity doesnt even know about the threat. Useless waste of money, don't bother with it.
I definitely recommend Bitdefender. I've been using it continuously for the past six years.

I have Bitdefender installed on all devices, and two laptops with the client installed were stolen in 2022. The computers have not been opened yet but if the offender does, I will be able to trace its whereabouts using Google Maps, along with a detailed address and an image of the place. The attacks have continued until July 1, 2025. I will not go online without the installation of Bitdefender.
Ik zocht informatie naar een ander antivirus programma dan Norton waarmee ik al jaren werk. Nu Norton bij hun laatste aanpassen om de haverklap me lastig valt. Ik kreeg de nodige informatie bij Bitdefender.
Apsolute crap of a product. Ads keep popping up so aggresivelly that its impossible to do anything else on the PC.

1.Nach jedem Update "kriecht" BitDefender tiefer ins System, dies ist glaubwürdig wie es auf vielen Internetseiten geschrieben steht. Der ComputerStart dauert mit BitDefender lange als ohne BitDefender. Nach Deinstallierung (mit der App) und Neustart und Reinigen der Registry per Hand, hat sich die Startzeit um drei-viertel verkürzt. 2.System zu langsam Jede APP wird erst gescannt bevor sie öffnet. (z.B. Notepad++ und das dauert) Es wird wie folgt begründet: -das Bitdefender nicht das einzige Sicherheitsprogramm ist, das auf Windows installiert ist. Stimmt nicht, -das die Mindestsystemanforderungen für die Ausführung von Bitdefender nicht erfüllt sind. Stimmt nicht. Hatte BD auch auf Windows 11.installiert. -sie haben Apps installiert, die Sie nicht verwenden,Blödsinn -Datenbeschädigung, Festplattenfragmentierung, -Ihr System ist vielleicht infiziert, alles nicht nachvollziehbar. -Die Geschwindigkeit und das allgemeine Verhalten Ihres Systems kann auch durch Bedrohungen beeinträchtigt werden.??? wenn das so wäre, hat BitDefender beim scannen nichts gefunden. Mein System ist sauber. 3.Dateien gelöscht BitDefender kann nicht mal unterscheiden ob es ein legales Programm ist oder nicht. BitDefender Scannt trotz Deaktivierung (heimlich) Externe Festplatten und hat mir einige gekaufte, nicht infizierte, Exe Dateien unwiderruflich gelöscht. Es waren auch ältere Programme dabei , die es nicht mehr gibt. Nach vollständiger Deaktivierung von BitDefender auf meiner Externen Festplatte mit Windows 10 ToGo (Starten überall möglich auch wenn Windows 11 installiert ist) und Deinstallierung vom Hauptrechner ,bekam ich Post. In der E- Mail steht: "Sie können jederzeit einen Blick in Ihr Bitdefender Central-Konto werfen, um ein weiteres Gerät zu schützen." Nach diesen Satz kann ich gleich wieder Windows 95 installieren. "Die Alternative wäre, Ihr Gerät ungeschützt zu lassen. Aber Sie lassen ja auch nicht Ihre Haustür offenstehen und hoffen, dass Einbrecher einen Bogen um Ihr Haus machen!" Alles richtig aber es gibt noch andere Anbieter, die das System nicht belasten. Man kann nicht richtig arbeiten,wenn BD installiert ist.
This isn't my first time writing a review for Bitdefender products..I can't say enough positive things about Bitdefender..I've had their mobile security for over a year and have had zero issues, except for one or two minor issues which was resolved as quick as it began...As far as protecting your devices, there's none that performs better than Bitdefender. What I really like is Bitdefender has now added yet, another great tool to their mobile security which is the Call Block Feature...In 2 days they blocked 7 fraudulent and scam phone calls where before my carrier has always allowed the call thru to your voicemail, which is very annoying..Now Bitdefender has taken control and the only time my phone rings is when a legitimate call is coming in, I like that peace of mind..If anyone is looking to have a security/anti-virus installed on your devices that you can put your trust in, Bitdefender is that company 100%. Thank you Bitdefender for keeping our devices secure and protected!
Usability has deteriorated, prices have gone up, and overall I am sick of this. The straw to break the camel's back is the rollout of special promotional pop-ups, which can be disabled but why was this even an idea in the first place?! I've been a customer since 2021, I won't be renewing my plan.
Ich kann nur bestätigen, was einige andere User schreiben. Es ist ein absolut unseriöses Vorgehen. Ich hatte meine Abos gekündigt. Trotzdem wurde mir der Jahresbetrag abgebucht uns zwar doppelt. Auf meine Beschwerde haben sie mir ein weiteres Abo angeboten. Was ist dass denn bitte für ein move? Geld habe ich bisher nicht zurück. Ich kann nur jedem abraten. Bitdefender- NIE WIEDER!

Its more like a spam-bot with all the popups. Find something else, because this is absolutely ridiculous.
I have been an customer for 7 years, part of this unknowingly because they set your account to auto renew. When I contacted them about me paying a lot more than first time customers they apologized and stated they want to do something about it. When I ask them to actually do something about it they over me a deal that is more expensive than some other deal I find online for the same product, and when I ask for a better solution they suddenly change direction and start blaming me for being a loyal customer that does not actively disable renewal and spends hours hunting deals every year. Seeing as they did not make this right I decided not to spent any more money on a company with this crappy a business practice and with such crappy customer service.
Difficult all around. Purchase, renewal, installation, setup, and daily use are confusing and waste time. If I could still use Kaspersky, I would. Update: On every purchase, upgrade, renewal and installation I've needed to contact customer support and get them to fix something. This is definitely NOT user friendly for this client. The constant ads and push to use another of their products just makes it so much more difficult to navigate through the process. Enough with the marketing! There is a point when it becomes obstructive, invasive and for this client a reason to switch to another product. I recently renewed because I didn't have time to research and install something new. I discovered that installing a new product would likely have been faster and easier.

They need to add ransomware check on drivers since much spyware gather information acting as a driver or through infecting a driver. These then continue spying unnoticed by the bitdefender program.
