Received plenty of notifications regarding the need for two able people to help the driver unload from the lorry. The 3000mm x 600mm x 25mm weighed around 90+kg (so equivalent to four bags of cement) very heavy! Great product, ok to cut with jigsaw or better a fine cut 80 tooth TCT circular saw blade specified for cutting materials such as acrylic. Easy to use a router as well, made my own curved jigs. Polishing out scratches and excess adhesive easy with care, I put two layers of masking tape either side of the adhesive join which helped me realise & adjust how much acrylic I was taking away as the tape became scuffed. Overall excellent product, style &finish.

Great product delivered on time

I had such a great experience from ordering my worktop to its arrival. My issues started after installation.. i noticed scratches on the surface and pencil marks from where it had been cut still on the surface which suggests it wasnt buffed properly after install. No biggie so contacted the installer and was met with blame that it has to be my fault and there would be a charge for rectifying it (bare in mind the property is under renovation so the worktop has not been used. I was told i’d be charged £50 when the installer was in my area or £200! If he was to come to me specifically again shocked by the charges… this has now been ongoing for over a year now. Communication from bbk is slim when i email and the installer just doesnt communicate with me. I was so impressed by the service initially that to end up being treated this was is extremely upsetting and uncalled for.

Delivery arrived on time but sadly, there was only one person to deliver the two 4-meter worktops. As I had just returned home from a COVID hospitalisation delivering the worktops proved a painful experience
