Very bad experience

Very bad experience, I had made a reservation and later canceled it. They keep telling me that I must have already received the money. But they never sent this to me. very very bad. I am very disappointed in the service @hotel offers. I need my money back!!!

DO NOT USE this booking website

DO NOT USE this booking website. Their customer service is the worst in the industry, they won't solve your problems, they will ask the same questions over and over to extend the delay and never actually help. After a month of back and forth your issue will still wont be fixed. Waste of time and risk of bad vacation experience because of them.

Great customer service and offers.

I absolutely love booking hotels with @hotels. They have great offers, booking is a smooth process and a super professional and helpful customer service. Sahy (customer service agent) was an absolute gem today. It’s always a win-win with them.

Good location and very helpful and…

Good location and very helpful and friendly staff! It is a 2 star hotel, but everything was better than expected with good breakfast. Do not drive to the hotel - the roads are very narrow and there is no parking. Use instead the public parking on Av. dos Descobrimendos 5 minutes away. 13 Euro per day.

Great support

We booked 3 rooms for our stay in London. Our booking confirmation stated a different amount paid than the website said, so we consulted the support via messenger. Abdo was very nice and helped us instantly. We are very happy with our booking experience.

county hotel llandudno slum dwelling ?

should be if anything minus 5 stars, however there is no way this can be registered at a glance. And so to the county hotel llandudno. My Wife and I live in a neat little bungalow in northern Cumbria,quite close to the scottish border, we have a small front garden and a rear garden that is a little larger with a lawned area, a paved area and a few fruit trees. Every area of our lives is clean well odered and does not smell of anything unsavoury. We have not at any time in our 50 years of marriage been expected to live in anything approaching a slum untill now. ie the county hotel llandudno, it is a disgrace and if the authorities in the town where doing their jobs, I do not believe they would be allowed to operate. The room that we where allocated had a single, small filthy window through which daylight could barely penetrate, the wash basin in the bathroom had in it two cracks and an actual hole, the bath itself was broken on one corner and had been badly patched with some species of white sticky stuff. a hole in the ceiling had a piece of plasticised cardboard roughly nailed over it and there was the cheapest nastiest white plastic toilet seat that I have ever seen. the wardrobe was a nasty little home made cupboard in a corner and again an obvious hole in the door had been patched in an extremely unproffessional manner with two pieces of hardboard glued over it. The whole of that floor smelled vaguely of excrement and the experience has left us traumatised. We booked for 4 nights and stayed for one, and would have left imediately but for the 200 mile drive. On complaining and asking for a refund we were refused on the grounds that we had booked directly and not through a website. Under facilities they list a restaurant and onsite parking, there is no restaurant and no onsite parking. In absolute disgust and still recovering, James Whitehead. We have photographs if anyone would like to see them

Very nice

Very nice, the client service is very efficient. I'd just like more info about check-in or things like that but otherwise everything was perfect. Best rates I've seen for my trip. Also, for Europeans, be careful because some fees can apply (I've had 10€ from my bank because it's located outside of Europe).

Refund undisclosed or hidden fees.

Abdo and Omar from Athotel support team were very helpful in resolving the issue of resort fee which was charged as hidden fee. Athotel stands by their advertised statement of refunding hidden fees which are not disclosed before booking.

Nice hotel to stay

The booking was easy , but the hotel became not the special info I need gluten free breakfast. But that was okay. The stay in hotel was comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Free water in the Room a little coffee and tea Maschine . A hair dryer, cosmetics when you forget it. The service stuff very friendly and helpful.

untrustworthy pricing. they show a partners price that includes taxes and fees are waved! When you click link to the deal, it does not have price without taxes and fees. Not honest advertising.

Hotel localization is everything!

Hotel localization is everything! It's not the highest standard but we're not needy. Clean sheets, clean towels everyday. If you don't plan to spend the whole day in the hotel, you will not even notice a subway rumbling

Hotel Swarn Tower

Hotel Swarn Tower, Bareilly, India Our family group of 34 members, ranging from 85 years to just 18 months old, had the utter misfortune of staying at this disgraceful excuse for a hotel on September 4 and 5, 2024. We had booked 12 rooms to visit Bareilly for a significant family event—paying respects at a temple built by our ancestors. Our dinner reservation for 22:00 at De Ja Vu, a time specifically requested to accommodate seniors, children, and ladies, was not only disrespected but completely disregarded. At 22:15, when a few members arrived, they found a local family enjoying dinner in the space that was explicitly promised to us. When we sought the manager, expecting a basic level of professionalism, he arrogantly brushed us off, offering no solutions or even the courtesy of listening to us. As tensions rose, members of the local family, completely unconnected to the issue, had the audacity to engage in heated exchanges, while the hotel staff—supposed to mediate—stood by and did nothing. Not a single hotel employee stepped in to manage the escalating situation, which eventually deteriorated into a verbal altercation, rife with abusive language on both sides. Even then, the staff was nowhere to be found, proving their utter incompetence and indifference. Insult was added to injury when the hotel staff, rather than ensuring the safety and comfort of their guests, became complicit in this fiasco. At 23:00, after hours of travel, exhaustion, and now heightened tensions, we had no choice but to stay put, trapped by their negligence. The following morning, the situation took an even more appalling turn. At 8:00, a police officer summoned me downstairs, informing me that a complaint had been filed against me—by the very local family that was never supposed to have been in our dinner space to begin with! Even more shocking was the fact that the hotel had violated our privacy, handing over my personal details to these strangers. Who gave them the right to disclose this information? Now, thanks to this hotel's egregious breach of trust, our personal safety is at risk. Any number of false complaints could be filed against us, as the hotel gave the local family everything they needed to target us further. To resolve the matter, and because we were out-of-towners, visiting solely for a family temple trip, I was forced to apologize to this local family on the phone—a family that had no business in the situation to begin with. Not once did the hotel staff step in to mediate or take responsibility. Their utter failure to manage the situation is a damning reflection of their incompetence. To top it all off, the hotel made no apology for their pathetic handling of the situation, nor did they acknowledge their catastrophic blunders. They didn’t even offer the basic courtesy of admitting fault. This hotel ruined what was supposed to be a special celebration of my birthday, leaving us with nothing but bitter memories. As if that wasn’t enough, there was more: My brother and his family, staying in Room No. 504 with their 18-month-old child, encountered an unsanitary, revolting incident. When his wife washed the electric kettle to prepare milk for the baby, it was contaminated with worms and insects. Yes, you read that correctly—WORMS AND INSECTS. The management showed no shame, no concern, and certainly no remorse. If you value your family’s safety and well-being, steer clear of this hotel. It is a complete and utter disaster, where staff and management alike will stand idly by, unconcerned about your experience—or your safety. This is not a place for families, or anyone, for that matter. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this vile establishment as possible.
