An excellent variety of targets in lovely surroundings. Tuition by, in my case, Justin, was absolutely first class. The whole Ashcombe experience is just about perfect!

Excellent shooting ground with lots of trap variety. Really friendly and helpful staff. Instruction from Justin and the team is top notch.
Justin was really good and covered just about every target and spent good time setting up the comb on my gun stock that made all the difference.
Efficient, welcoming reception. Able & friendly coach who helped my 2 teenagers relax and then created a mini-competition for a bit of inter-sibling rivalry to maintain focus and interest. All equipment was of good quality and the ground was extremely well equipped. Will be coming again. 5 stars
Me and Leo really enjoyed our morning with Justin, he learnt a lot in a short amount of time, and started to hit the clays with ease Kind regards paul
From start to finish we were met with a warm welcome and treated very well, excellent!
Always pleasant and helpful great facilities also
Very helpful
Excellent afternoon - coach was fantastic, if not for him I would not have hit anything.
Excellent tuition
Paul was brilliant, taught me some tricks to improve bad habits I have picked up over the years of game shooting. Cannot recommend Paul highly enough.
Don is very patient,l am getting there!
Excellent morning out.Very welcoming when we arrived.Never done clay pigeon shooting before but Justin our tutor for the morning couldn’t have been more helpful in explaining everything and helping us throughout the session.Definitely look forward to going back next time we are down for another holiday.
Amazing place, always try to go once a month, staff very friendly and always giving tips on how to become a better shooter. Definitely recommend.
Great day and excellent tuition from our tutor Don, had a complete beginner hitting pairs in 1 lesson!
Justin the GB archery instructor managed in the space of an hour to teach me and my two young adult children how to hold and use a bow safely and correctly and to hit the centre zone of the target. We learned safety in approaching and removing arrows from the target but above all he made it a fun experience which we would be happy to repeat if we are ever down in Dawlish again. Thank you Justin and all at Ascombe Shooting Ground
Great place. Friendly, reasonably priced. Great layout
Amazing experience! Majority of us had never held a gun before, never mind shot one. The instructor Paul made us feel at ease and made it a fun and enjoyable experience, would definitely recommend having a go to anyone.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience with great instructor 22.07.23. The whole session was built around our enjoyment and making sure we actually hit the Clay's. Plenty of enthusiasm and laughs all round and some successes. Stopped for lunch and totally recommend the burger. All staff very friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for something different to try would recommend you give this a go. Thanks guys, Rachel and Chris
Had a great evening at Ashcombe, It was only my second time clay shooting and I had really good guidance from Don, and Justin, which helped me improve immediately. All round great experience, had a cheeky beer after the shoot as well! great facilities and would highly recommend.
What a great place to learn to shoot! Lots of different targets and some of the views are incredible. The registered shoots are extremely well organised and offers targets that will challenge all classes. Just a lovely ground with fantastic, staff, food and shooting!
