Excellent Service

I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.

Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Budapest to Amsterdam cruise.

This was a cruise where everything worked perfectly. The complementary taxi to the airport was a great benefit at five in the morning. KLM delivered me promptly to Schipol and clearing customs and immigration into the EU did not take too long. The onward flight to Budapest arrived on time and we were met by the ATP representative and transported to our ship in time for a welcome drink before the briefing. Our cruise director, Karina, was very thorough with all her briefings. Her policy of treating all of us like children and explaining everything at least twice certainly worked and as the holiday progressed she relaxed and developed a sense of humour. Jerry, the hotel manager was excellent. Ever present, calm and full of good humour. Definitely my man of the match. Food was delicious and plentiful with excellent variety. The chef table restaurant was also well worth a visit with an excellent tasting menu with paired wines. The drinks package was also really good with quality premium brands available. The cabin was kept immaculate by the admirable Ei Ei and the public rooms were also always kept in tip top condition. The choice of excursions was excellent and slow walkers were well catered for. The high standards detailed here were delivered at a competitive price and the no single supplement offer made for exceptional value. All round, a five star experience. Thank you APT.

Bucharest to Amsterdam cruise

The Bucharest to Amsterdam cruise was a fantastic experience and the boat/food/beverages/staff/itinerary and daily excursions were all excellent. The only downside for us was that we had a transfer at Schifol Airport on the outbound journey and I feel that insufficient time had been allowed for this to happen. Consequently, due to the initial flight being delayed we missed our transfer and had to stay in Amsterdam overnight. The rescheduled flights offered by KLM were unacceptable as the boat would have sailed prior to our arrival, therefore, we had no option but to spend 5 hours in the airport making our own arrangements. Finally, the number provided to notify the company of any delay, did not work. This all led to an extremely stressful start to our holiday!

The whole crew were so dedicated to making the holiday enjoyable.

We had a lovely river cruise on the Danube with this company. The ship was very comfortable, with good cabins and very welcoming common spaces (restaurant, lounge, sun deck etc.). The whole trip was very well organised with plenty to do-the company had clearly taken care to ensure we had an enjoyable and interesting holiday. There was a fantastic Cruise Director on the ship who gave us great information and took care of every need. The whole crew were wonderful-cheerful and helpful, it felt like they could not do enough to make sure everyone enjoyed the cruise. Meals were excellent and included drinks at lunchtime and dinner. Outside of those times alcoholic drinks were very reasonable priced, and tea, coffee and water were always available. We would not hesitate to go with this travel company again.

Excellent in all respects

Excellent in all respects . especially service. Staff wonderful and so helpful. Food varied and presented beautifully and matched from each area we were in. Some rooms smaller but well looked after by staff. Tours outstanding and so well organised.

Fabulous River Cruise

Fabulous River Cruise . We had a marvellous time from start to finish. All the crew & staff were wonderful ... so friendly and helpful . Food & drinks were top class , cabins were immaculate and very comfortable. Great trips every day with really professional guides & entertainment. Thanks to all the APT team for a truly memorable voyage.
