Absolutely appalling service with mortgage application. It has taken 4 months and they still havent done a valuation. I paid £370 for valuation on 27th June 2025 and till today 2nd Sept 2025 they still have not been able to send the valuer out to the property giving all sorts of stupid reasons like "the seller hasn't found a buyer" wheras the whole entire conveyancing process has been completed with both solicitors and they are awaiting Aldermore to approve mortgage. I WONT BE USING ALDERMORE AGAIN!!!!

The customer service personnel are just so great to deal with, they are knowledgeable, helpful and always try their best solve the problem in double quick time. Because of this I have recommended others to Aldermore. Their rates are good and they just seem head and shoulders above other financial outfits.

This bank still thinks it's 1979 No app, still using the outdated and unreliable postal service. If you want to transfer an isa to them, it's all done by post, not online, once you have downloaded the form and filled it in, have to post it to them costing you the price of a stamp. Once they get round to opening your letter, they will then write to your other provider and request the transfer, expected to be completed in 15 days if not lost in the post In the meantime they have reduced the interest rate. Don't bother with this kind of poor service.

Aldermore do investing and do it well. It's a clear service, easy to use web site and helpful email reminders without being too intrusive.

Really easy process and very swift, payments were made first thing in the morning of the maturity date with no fuss. Great phone team too
