1) We love our tour manager. She is kind, great with the kids, and passionate about what she does.
2) Our schedule was a bit messy - We would have liked more details leading into the tour so that we could put in our two cents in the matter. Things were a bit scattered, the schedule was too packed, and sites weren't seen efficiently (ie, we did a bus tour that ended right at the Notre Dame, which we spent a half day metro-ing out the day before to see - Could have all been done at once!), wasting chunks of the day.
3) I would NOT do a cooking lesson in Paris. It was a WASTE of an afternoon, with zero cultural takeaway. There was no actual cooking lesson, and it was such a shame to lose an entire afternoon in PARIS doing that. It could have been time better served while in the south - if it were an actual lesson with culture, etc.
4) The ACIS team was AMAZING at responding to the events in Nice. They responded quickly, flexibly, and always with the students' best interest at heart.
5) Group dinners were sub-par. We were served the same food multiple nights, and it wasn't very French. None of our kids walked away from the trip feeling much liking toward French food, which is a shame!
6) The accommodations were excellent, the bus driver was wonderful, and the cities we visited were beautiful. Beyond the smaller details, it was all well orchestrated.
