Fantastic customer service from Sebastian Spaul and Sarka Donohoe. It was wonderful speaking to you all and I cant wait to start this new journey.
fantastic teacher thank you paul
The interaction was great. The webinar was really enlightening. I am looking forward to the next one.
So far a great experience !! Great attentive staff with all the knowledge at their fingertips. They squashed all my concerns rapidly. Thanks 😊
I started this course a couple years a go in the hope of becoming an gas engineer and I am now in the later stages of it. The lectures teaching you are top noch and cant do enough to help you, although schedualing dates and booking appointments for parts of the course leaves much to be desired and I have had a few problems doing this. Fortunatly for me a lot of these problems have been resolved by ringing Ruby in the office, if it wasnt for her helping me out I would be stuck what to do and usure how to continue. Coming from a long way and staying up near the centre can also be difficult and expensive, some sort of hostel system could be implemented to make it better.
Just finished my practical training with Aaron. A great teacher, with good energy and very interesting stories. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to learn electrics.
Electrical practical training just completed, Our tutor was James and he was brilliant broke things down in a way which was easier to understand and gave great tips, advice and constructive criticisms on our installations and where we could learn and improve.
The experience was great. Callum is a really great teacher and funny. You can have some good laughs with him.
Usually I don't submit reviews, but this time I think that my opinion could help change someone's decision. Firstly, I'd like to state, English is not my first language. However, even with my level of knowledge, Paul made plumbing webinars both enjoyable and easy to understand.
I thoroughly enjoyed the webinars. Paul is great and very helpful! Absolutely recommend it to everyone!
I have no idea how plumbing works but now greatly aware of plumber jobs. Paul is putting us on the training.
Have just been doing my ACS gas revision. Andy Sibley has been a brilliant tutor all through the course. He explains things clearly, makes the webinars fun, is engaging and is just a great teacher. He has also taken time to personally help me a few times, which is very kind and generous. Thanks Andy..
Paul who was doing the webinars was very good, lots of interaction with questions and his all round knowledge. Made this an enjoyable course to do so great experience
Did the level 2 plumbing with Paul, he is great, really experienced, funny and gave us lots of insights. You can see he is genuinely dedicated to our learning and has lots of experience to back it up.
Just been doing my electrical course in Cardiff. James the instructor was great knowledgeable very helpful, patient and encouraging. Definitely give him 5 stars.
Excellent trainers and assessors at Access Training. Although I was apprehensive about both the practical training and assessment, the professionalism of the Access team enabled me to give my best and complete the course. I would thoroughly recommend Access Training to people of all ages, looking to pursue a career as an electrician.
Craig is an absolute gem. No end to the help he will give you. So much work done on extra resources. I highly recommend the book he created as well, that really explains a lot and busts all the jargon. Genuinely a fantastic assessor. If you end up with Craig you will fly through your nvq. Superb. Thank you Craig.
Adam Lee made it great; he was invaluable, answered all our questions with a smile on his face, strict in certain places where he needed to be, like wearing safety shoes, and made us repeat tasks to make sure we get it right in the future and embedded the safe course of action when doing tasks, great help with tools, overall experience 10/10 with Adam specifically thanks a lot forever grateful
I would like to thank Adam Lee in Access Training @ Welwyn Garden City for his dedicated support during the training and profound explanation for all questions. He was so helpful and demonstrated different examples from real-life experience. Cheers Adam
⭐ 1 Star — Poor Support, Misleading Promises, and Not Worth the Money I regret signing up with Access Training UK. What was sold to me as a flexible, supportive course for career changers has turned out to be frustrating, disorganised, and overpriced. Since April 2025, I’ve been trying to resit two exams with no success. Despite being on sabbatical leave and repeatedly contacting their team, I’ve had no meaningful help, no clear dates, and no urgency. Head Office takes days to respond to emails, even when I’ve stated clearly that I’m working to a deadline before returning to work in September. They’ve offered resits in Cardiff and Welwyn Garden City — hundreds of miles from where I live in Yorkshire, which is completely unrealistic. Manchester was later suggested, but only after I chased multiple times — and that’s still not ideal. The practical training I did in January was intense and not beginner-friendly. You’re expected to learn a huge amount in a few short weekends with limited instruction. There’s no real student network or support — just isolation and pressure to learn fast from a few webinars and self-study resources. I had to buy all the key textbooks myself, even though I was told materials were included. You’re also charged £50 for each exam resit, with only a vague breakdown of what areas you did poorly in — no real feedback or support to help you pass next time. Multiple students I spoke to had the same experience. Worst of all, it felt like they didn’t even contact me about practical training until my payment plan was nearly complete — once they’d secured my money, the support basically disappeared. Access Training promise flexibility, support, and a clear path into the trades. In my experience, it’s just an expensive sales pitch with poor delivery, limited support, and hidden costs. Avoid making the same mistake I did.
I attended the 2 week plastering beginners course with carl as my tutor. I learned everything i need to go ahead and plaster a wall from scratch. Carl was awesome he made sure i had the techniques right before moving onto the next step, he explained and demonstrated everything clearly giving me his tips from his 25 years of experience. In the 2 weeks i learned a lot throughout the course. I really enjoyed learning to plaster and the course was simple. From the get go it's all practical with no exams! It's a shame more follow up courses aren't available. I would highly recommend this course if you want to learn the basics of plastering.
