Finds best prices and options so you choose!
I had looked up some flights and prices ahead of time so I had a sense of what I could find on my own. Then I called Ace at Above9 Travel, with whom I have worked before. I told him what flight I had found. He found me that flight at a significant savings and even improved the shorter flight from economy to business class! On other occasions Ace has given me several options. This time that was unnecessary as I had already found the flight I desired and the/his price was right! Also, there was no pressure to buy additional things, which I appreciate.

Strange, counterproductive and unpleasant experience
We made a reservation with Above9 for a transcontinental trip at a price that was less than published airline fare. When the purchase was completed we checked the reservation on the airline website and were shocked to discover an extra segment not connected to our trip. When we asked the agent for an explanation he tried to lecture us that it was "normal" and a "complementary" one from the airline. In many years of travel we never heard of "complementary" segments but did hear of agents playing games with routing that can get travelers in trouble. We told the agent to either remove that segment from the reservation or cancel the entire reservation and issue a refund. It took a lot of arguments and only a threat of disputing the charge through the credit card resulted in cancellation. We still do not know what game they were playing but want no part of it. After this experience we read the negative reviews (which we should have done before) and because of aggressive responses from the company including legal threats we kept all text exchanges, emails and screenshots. This was a strange, counterproductive and unpleasant experience.
