This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Had to cancel an order that I just did and harrison sorted it out within seconds. No problem and super quick. Especially after I've spent all afternoon on Web chat with my old provider. Harrison was very helpful and super polite.

Great customer service and product.

Had my Squirrel Internet a while now and only today had an issue with my router. Spoke to a lad called Ryder on the chat function who was a great help, who gave me some steps to try to fix the issue and in case it's not fixed has passed on my issue to his peers (as it's Sunday). If not fixed today he did say they will get to it tomorrow. Can't fault the service. Update: The issue was rectified the next day as promised and I've not had an issue since. Honestly cannot fault the speed and quality of the connection and the customer service puts the likes of BT (my previous provider) to shame.

Great Service and follow up post cancellation

Update: Received a call from Squirrel to discuss my feedback. Very positive discussion. I explained that I felt the communication at the end was unclear and made it difficult for me (particularly as an autistic individual) and it was portrayed as if I only had the option to cancel my contract at its end date to ensure I wasn't charged or continue on a rolling contract which would require 30 days notice to cancel, which wasn't actually the case. Squirrel have kindly reactivated my service for me temporarily to ensure I am not left without during the switchover process which I really appreciate, and it is genuinely a shame that they don't offer existing customers similar deals to other providers as I would have happily stayed, but in this economy the monthly savings elsewhere make all the difference.

Recently switched to Squirrel after…

Recently switched to Squirrel after moving house. Good price (we went for 600mbps basic service) and installation was on time and super-smooth. Even when the guys had a fail with the cable run to the house and had to come back with a cherry picker it all happened the same day. And plugging in the router and getting on line was simplicity itself. Comms throughout has been superb with a refreshing absence of compliance-driven BS as per the big firms. So keep up the great work, Lawrence and colleagues: more power to your elbows.

Budget Friendly, high quality service

What's not to like? Gigabit Fibre straight to your premises for the same price others charge for less than half that speed. Oh and if you think "I've never heard of them" or "The catch will be poor customer service" Then I am happy to report that I've just been on a support chat (1st time and for my own tech inquiry and not issue related) with Lawrance on a Sunday (No waiting) and the support was top notch. Long may it continue.
