Inconsistency in recommendations by their nurses. When I brought an issue to their attention about no visual changes with a botox treatment they were annoyed. They said the could see results. There was NO results. They claimed I requested low dose botox because I had cancer 4 years ago. I did not. They did. When I asked for a refund they offered me $50 towards another treatment. Very unprofessional. I did not see what was put into the needle. She hid behind me, filled the needle with something them came around me injecting me without notice. I was in shock. I was so disappointed. They bait you with 20 units for $87 of botox but I do not know what product they used. Terrible company. Don't waste your money.

I wasted my money because they don’t even inject you with anything I saw someone post a similar review and I thought it would be different for me I can’t believe nothing happened to my face I’m very disappointed and I tell EVERYBODY not to go to skin vitality I do hairdressing so I have a lot of clients and I tell every single one of them not to go. I found another place to try but skin vitality is a joke f’n scammers

I am extremely disappointed with a recent experience I had with skin vitality—unfortunately, not for the first time. After a previous negative incident, I chose to stay away from their services for quite some time. However, I recently decided to give them another chance, only to be let down again. I was interested in booking a service at a special promotional price they had advertised. I was informed that a consultation was required beforehand, which I already found unnecessary and time wasting, but agreed to anyway. I scheduled a phone consultation for a particular day and time. However nobody contacted me at the time booked, and no follow-up was provided. This lack of communication and disregard for my time is incredibly unprofessional. Based on my experiences, it does not reflect the standards one would expect from a reputable business. I hope you take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve your customer service and communication.

Ok I have had Botox around the lips done twice. I have both times ended up with either a crooked smile and the latest …one lip much higher on one side than the other. I was happy the technician “Elizabeth” was gentle with the injections and previously blogged about that. However the uneven lip which I thought would go down never really did. Never going back! Their technicians do not seem to know what they are doing with any injections for or around the lips. Date of service is approximate as cannot recall exact date in April.

And I informed you before about possible side effect/compensatory wrinkles! You must to fix it for free! But you just keep making excuses! Now I don’t have any evidence of Botox (it’s just 1.5 months), but side effects!!! I never had that high doses and always had good results!!! And your other client said the same thing!!! And how many people didn’t leave the review?! Scammers!!! If I was paying for the zone (you charge for units unlike in other countries) you'd be more responsible. When I came to the clinic again on May 28, you recommended that I re-up a huge number of units. You even didn’t fix my forehead (I agreed with your recommendation at that zone)! And the supervisor in the clinic that day was extremely unpleasant and rude

Absolutely disappointing experience. I’ve been getting Botox for many years and have never encountered anything like this. Upon arrival, I was told I needed 75 units—an unusually high dosage. I agreed to 60 units, which is still excessive. Post-treatment, my forehead feels completely frozen and unnaturally heavy, especially above my eyes. The specialist did not open the vial in front of me, nor did they show the brand used. Everything was prepared out of sight, and the procedure felt rushed and impersonal. This clinic appears transactional and money-driven, rather than professional or patient-focused. NEVER AGAIN!

Purchased 7 lavenders. I'll copy and paste my complaint here that I sent to customer service June 4th THAT I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM Hi there I finally had a moment to right regarding my cool sculpting results this far. There is not much to write as I haven't seen any results. I've maintained my weight and have been just as active as I have been in the past (maybe a little more, given the time of year) and have not felt or seen a change at all. As a matter of fact, I feel and look worse than before because I had such high expectations. In total I purchased 7 lavenders to treat my flanks/love handles (two treatments on both sides), lower abdomen (X2) and upper abdomen. I am roughly around 125-130lbs @ 5'4 1/2" tall. Also I'd like to address the Botox I get from you. I've noticed that everytime I've been getting it done there, it doesn't meet the basic results/expectation I have. I get offered to come back in for touch ups but I've explained multiple times, that I live an hour 1/2-2 hours away and planning and paying for treatment and travel is quite the expense and ordeal for me. So I suggested, to the staff, instead of banking on not having a good result and me having to come back, just do it right the first time. My wrinkles are not that bad and 60 units should be more than sufficient to treat the few lines on my forehead and crows feet. It has never turned out how I was told it would and actually, on the contrary, less than satisfactory for the money I've spent. I'd like to have a conversation with someone regarding these issues/ concerns at your earliest convenience. Thanks, Sincerely hopeful for a resolution, ---- hope this helps anyone looking into this. They didn't tell me my appointment was in Whitby the last time so I drove to Ajax than told my appointment wasn't there and had to drive to Whitby (I had already passed Whitby on my way there).

Mine too was very insulting and poor experience. Took my money and failed to provide the service as they don’t have the machine anymore. They wanted me to travel 40 kilometres to Toronto to get my service done. Refused to refund me. Sarah their Director suggested I take other kind of service. Of course did not get my service nor my refund !! Be carful ladies and never pay upfront for any service. Scammers took $1700 from me for nothing. I am not going to waste my time but I will never forget. I will let all my friends and family know how bad is this clinic. I know they will block me now. But it is ok this comment will save others from being hurt by this horrible clinic. People talk and your reputation is going down the drain. Be wise!

My response to their reply: my review is indeed accurate! The only solution offered to me was to use the money toward a different service. You have refused to provide a refund. Or are you talking about the offer on BBB to *not* refund me but offered a $50 gift certificate which I refused? Please stop replying falsely and generically to this situation! I had an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience with Skin Vitality in St. Catharines. I went in for a consultation March 21 2025 for lip filler and was offered a "zero money down" payment plan through Affirm. What they NEVER mentioned to me was that this plan is non-cancellable. The lady never discussed the refund policy, exchange policy...nothing! I was guided through the Affirm setup on my phone right there sitting in her office before signing any paperwork and then a paper was flipped upside down on the counter and told to sign it—no explanation, no transparency. I take responsibility for not reading both sides of the paper, but their approach was clearly designed to rush the process without being transparent. The entire sale felt very pressured and rush and they left out vital information. Only *15 minutes* (literally!) after leaving the clinic, I called to cancel because I felt overwhelmed and realized I wasn't ready to commit to lip filler. I’ve never had anything done to my face, and the anxiety hit me hard. At this point, no payment had been processed and no service was rendered. Still, they absolutely refused to cancel the Affirm contract. I’ve gone back and forth with their patient care team and there has been zero empathy or flexibility. They continue to insist that I signed and must pay—even though I reached out immediately. The only option they offered was to use the credit on a different service, which I do not want. I don’t feel comfortable having anything else done with a clinic that treats people this way. The fact that they have no refund policy and refuse to work with Affirm to cancel a plan when no services were provided is appalling. This situation is absolutely ridiculous! I filed a BBB complaint and Skin Vitality gave a generic FALSE response saying things about the contract that were not true and stated I was verbally told about the cancellation policies which I was not! It was never mentioned in the consultation! Also, I advised them that I confirmed im pregnant and can not safely have anything done and they have completely ignored that. Never acknowledged it! What type of business refuses to look at a client case by case and make reasonable exceptions? Im in disbelief and appalled. Look on BBB and there are several other complaints about this payment plan and how people are locked into it without any exceptions. They clearly care more about profit than people. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear. Their customer service is cold, dismissive, and completely lacks compassion. Avoid Skin Vitality at all costs.

Terrible customer service and did not honour the promotion promised after I arrived for my appointment even though I provided the text msg with the customer service rep confirming this promotion. I have spent thousands of dollars in services at this clinic yet was quickly dismissed even though I went out of my way to get to this appointment and had my daughter with me they were very rude. Do not be fooled by their response below my review as I already tried contacting their customer care but they still have not resolved this issue.

It is a very unpleasant experience. I had 83 units of Botox and 3 syringes of Juvederm.After this procedure, no changes, no trace of Botox, and after Juvederm there were no changes at all. I reported and went to the clinic with an e-complaint, I wrote to the director of the clinic about the situation of how I was cheated for the amount of 2400 dollars. To silence me I got a gift of 1 syringe and 10 units of botox. And as a bonus significant bruises on both sides of the mouth and forced sitting at home. Correspondence with director Sarah, It is still today/16/3/25. It is a way to get money from people, without any effect. I keep getting an answer that I need more medication. I will not write about the conditions in which the procedure is performed, everything,behind the client's back,,empty syringes and diluted botox. And the matter of approaching the client, that is unacceptable, nice,oh and and until I pay, later she didn't even want to accept me, having an appointment, she pretended to see me and took other people. Ignorance, lack of culture and looking for naive and poor, because stupid people like me. And now when I want all my documentation, Director Sarah wants me to pay 35 dollars, because I have to point out that I will need these papers when I seek help with attaching before and after photos.I've been there not for the first time and I've spent a lot of money, and now I have to pay monthly until December. I've been scammed and I warn against this clinic.

Went back after two years and got an amazing deal. Nurse Navreek was kind to explain everything before the procedure. I definitely recommend her.. Once again, thank you very much. I’ll see you soon. Give me five stars. Thank you Anna censale

I had a great experience from start to finish. My consultation was extremely informative and my treatment was quick and the nurse explained it all step by step. I will be going back for all my beauty needs

Very friendly staff but they did not provide what they had promised. I went with the promotion for $87 per 20 units. Of course after initial consultation they had covinse me to buy many more units which suppose to get rid of my lines between my eyes. Even after touch ups the lines are still very visible. I was told people have less and less units to be re done between 3 to 6 mo to keep the results. There is not even 2 mo and I don't even have desired result yet.

New to the area, looking for a new botox injector figured I would try their botox deal and go from there.... Had the treatment done a month ago, after letting the botox set I noticed movement in my brows were very uneven, additionally I had a large crease line on the top of my forehead. So I called to discuss this and we booked a corrective appt. Long story short, it wasn't corrected and there is huge movement on my other brow now (with the one they added 'tox to not moving at all). Additionally, my forehead creases have multiplied and are more prominent. What the heck, I have never had issues like this getting botox. I would unfortunately suggest going elsewhere for more qualified treatments.

Scheduling system is the worst. I went there today for my first appointment. Unfortunately someone in their clinic booked me in Burlington location. Now I'm thinking it's probably blessing in disguise for all the bad reviews I'm seeing now. I had my proof of conversation with this people. Very sketchy and unprofessional.

The injections I got at this clinic didn’t go well, total waste of money. You can’t really discuss your concerns with anyone there because they don’t answer your emails and don’t want to be involved after they got their money, so you are on your own with lost money, no ( or negative ) results, sadly nobody is responsible for that You are better off at the plastic surgeon/ dermatology office as they are MDs there and hopefully know what they are doing

I was gaslit into believing my lip filler was done properly. I cried about it a month after when it was supposed to look normal. The owner also banned me from their location and wiped out my existing Botox treatments that I had paid for. Gaslit me about that too. Over $100 of units! Had to get them fixed with an independent lip filler nurse injector. Skin Vitality owner refused to refund so I went to my CC company. It is a shame because some of the ladies working at Skin Vitality were kind. I think. The owner though, she is a piece of work. She harassed me and threatened to send a collections agency called Metropolitan Credit Adjustors after me. She had them send me an email despite them having 1.6 stars on google reviews. Haha. Shady business. Never going back again. Telling everyone how they hire new inexperienced practitioners and harass & gaslight their clients even after years of loyalty. :)
