I found the experience with Simply Conveyancing to be simply comforting. The process was relatively smooth, there are always hiccups or unexpected questions from other parties, but SC really helped reduce the noise. They were always available, clear if someone else was covering and answered any questions / emails super fast.

From start to finish simply conveyancing have been an excellent solicitors dealing with our property. Kerry has been amazing she is truely professional and always no issues in communication even when there was holidays our case was always looked after by someone else until she was back and took it straight over again. Kerry had always been able to reassure and told it how it is. Thank you so much Kerry and your team in having looked after myself and Peter throughout this process. Many thanks Amber and Peter

Very poor experience.

Very poor experience. A very prolonged process of 7 months to complete, a lot of stress,loss of finance and the burden of almost 100 emails to reply to.Completed purchase a week ago but don’t have keys to enter the flat and indifferent reply from lawyer.Inexperienced staff,would not advise the service.

Great Service

Very professional and friendly at the same time. I was kept up to date throughout. I was selling the house on behalf of my sister, I have LPA for her and it was quite nerve racking but Julius especially and the rest of the team were great.

Would not recommend

Leanne Williams was great she dealt with the sale of our leasehold flat. I would give her 5 stars individually but this review is about Simply on the whole. We were recommended Simply Conveyancing by our estate agent and were informed the buyers were using them too, this did not speed up the process at all it still took 5 months to complete. Sometimes waiting almost a month for replies from the other side, this even had to be escalated due to non communication. Both us and the buyers contacted the estate agent individually to see what was going on. We then instructed Simply for a house purchase, unfortunately Leanne went on maternity leave and the service we received after that was terrible. 3 weeks had gone by and we hadn’t received the report of enquiries that had been answered by the sellers. No one contacted me to say who our new solicitor was I had to call and find out. We decided not to go ahead as the building survey showed the house was too much of a project. The women (Jane) who took over the case was not bothered in the slightest, she hadn’t looked at our file, she just wanted to close our case and get rid of us. I told her we had found a new build and wanted to stay with Simply to manage the transaction. She said she couldn’t help with that and we would need to pay set up fees again as it’s a new file! We had already paid them £700 up front. Gavin the manager was equally rude and never once apologised for the poor service we received. Very slow communication, quality of service is not consistent. Would not recommend.

❌This Could be you next❌ Deposit gone down the drain too 👎 ❌Very poor service very inexperienced staff I get the feeling that they are just office staff assistants, directed by licensed conveyors, it's always "processing and waiting for updates weeks on end, they took a long time (weeks) to tell me, I need to send some more paperwork and information, which clearly means they are not on top of things 8+ months still no purchase, I have had to cancel with them after 8 months, lose deposit and move on, several calls emails explaining things pointing them in the right direction, still nothing Even when you send documents they take ages and I truly mean weeks 3-4 weeks to come back and say no we need more documentation, hindering the purchase from both sides buyer and seller which I found out later after months of trusting them I would not recommend this to absolutely no one trying to purchase property, extremely poor customer experience and service, this could be you next months of wasted time, deposit £680 kissed goodbye money gone 8 months to check someone’s financial paperwork is a joke, shame on you, employees very inexperienced you can just tell by speaking to them on the phone, this is a call centre, not sure what to say or do next, I lost my dream home just like that shame on you, avoid at all cost, time wasters and never straight to the point❌

8TH MONTH UPDATE & 3RD REVIEW - I’m about to have my purchase collapse

This is my third review (complaint) about Simply Conveyancing and yet I sit here with my mortgage EXTENSION expiry date tomorrow. This is after a 7 month purchase process and a further 45 day extension after we missed the first deadline. My lender sent Simply Conveyancing an email with final enquiries yesterday and 24 hours later, they are telling me they still haven’t received a response from my solicitor. My solicitor once more remains impossible to get ahold of with abysmal to non-existent communication. The lender was frank: They told me that I could potentially lose my flat based on the lack of response from my solicitor. The fact that I even have to call the LENDER every few hours for confirmation of whether or not my solicitor has sent them an email shows you how impossible it is to get communication from Simply Conveyancing. I am thoroughly thoroughly devastated and fast losing hope that I will be able to complete as a result If you value your time, your money and your peace of mind, I would recommend NOT using Simply Conveyancing and staying well clear of them. At times it has almost felt like they are working against me which is just about the worst thing you can feel as a buyer. If I can’t even trust my solicitor to send an email, what do I do? Whoever is reading this, please please PLEASE be forewarned.

Sam and the team were excellent and…

Sam and the team were excellent and kept me informed on the status of my sale every step of the process. Questions and all requests were answered promptly on the same day with follow up calls received. I would highly recommend Simply Conveyancing and would certainly use them again without hesitation.
