8TH MONTH UPDATE & 3RD REVIEW - I’m about to have my purchase collapse
This is my third review (complaint) about Simply Conveyancing and yet I sit here with my mortgage EXTENSION expiry date tomorrow. This is after a 7 month purchase process and a further 45 day extension after we missed the first deadline. My lender sent Simply Conveyancing an email with final enquiries yesterday and 24 hours later, they are telling me they still haven’t received a response from my solicitor. My solicitor once more remains impossible to get ahold of with abysmal to non-existent communication. The lender was frank: They told me that I could potentially lose my flat based on the lack of response from my solicitor. The fact that I even have to call the LENDER every few hours for confirmation of whether or not my solicitor has sent them an email shows you how impossible it is to get communication from Simply Conveyancing. I am thoroughly thoroughly devastated and fast losing hope that I will be able to complete as a result If you value your time, your money and your peace of mind, I would recommend NOT using Simply Conveyancing and staying well clear of them. At times it has almost felt like they are working against me which is just about the worst thing you can feel as a buyer. If I can’t even trust my solicitor to send an email, what do I do? Whoever is reading this, please please PLEASE be forewarned.
