Would not recommend

Leanne Williams was great she dealt with the sale of our leasehold flat. I would give her 5 stars individually but this review is about Simply on the whole. We were recommended Simply Conveyancing by our estate agent and were informed the buyers were using them too, this did not speed up the process at all it still took 5 months to complete. Sometimes waiting almost a month for replies from the other side, this even had to be escalated due to non communication. Both us and the buyers contacted the estate agent individually to see what was going on. We then instructed Simply for a house purchase, unfortunately Leanne went on maternity leave and the service we received after that was terrible. 3 weeks had gone by and we hadn’t received the report of enquiries that had been answered by the sellers. No one contacted me to say who our new solicitor was I had to call and find out. We decided not to go ahead as the building survey showed the house was too much of a project. The women (Jane) who took over the case was not bothered in the slightest, she hadn’t looked at our file, she just wanted to close our case and get rid of us. I told her we had found a new build and wanted to stay with Simply to manage the transaction. She said she couldn’t help with that and we would need to pay set up fees again as it’s a new file! We had already paid them £700 up front. Gavin the manager was equally rude and never once apologised for the poor service we received. Very slow communication, quality of service is not consistent. Would not recommend.
