Review summary
Mint Mobile has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The phone plan for Mint has been great.
But then i decided to buy a new phone with them.
How dare I do that! Worst company ever.
The phone never even made it to me and i was charged $500. I never got the phone and they refused any support at all. Confirmed delivered by Fedex to H.H.H. THAT IS NOT MY NAME. it was clearly stolen.
I purchased insurance but i never even got the phone to activate it.
Im tired of getting danced around.
I want my money back.
I have wasted an hour in Europe trying to get WiFi calling to work. It has worked on and off and now Mint doesn't even recognize my number. I renewed (annual) on the condition they make the feature work from Europe and they promised. Now I've been on the phone twice, wasting 40 min on two diff calls with two reps, promising they would fix it. f Mint and they'd get a MINUS 1 if that were an option
There should be 2 separate reviews ,one for the service which seems good so far and the second for customer service website and app which totally SUCKS! Been trying all day to log in and it won't recognize either of my mint numbers so I have. O access to my accounts. Customer service is clueless. Spent hrs on the phone with them . They can't help. So now I'm stuck with no account access and no way to change payment method since I do not give payment information over the phone verbally
I just want to say, THE QUALITY OF MINT IS TERRIBLE FOR ME. I live in north Seattle, and I pay for the premium mint plan, and I'm only able to make calls and use data for about six hours per 24 day. During business hours, I rarely am even able to make a call l. Maybe there's something unique about my situation, but my advice is don't use mint if you live in Seattle and need a reliabke network.
Their website told me my phone was perfectly compatible. Couldn't send group or picture messages. Fought with customer support for months, who were disorganized, said they took notes but I always had to repeat steps. Finally got to a manager who belittled and told me I was wrong despite the website clearly stating it was perfectly compatible. Have to change my number now twice in four months just so I can send group messages. Do not recommend.
Switched to MINT and it was a great experience to move everything over. I accepted their number and have not given the phone number to anyone but the phone rings at least 4 times a day from places I have not spoken with. I called to ask for a new fresh number to get the foreign voice and attuited. 3 times I called back to back each time the foreign voice acted like they didnt hear me, then acted like it was static when the rep was slapping the mic on the phone, finally acted like there were technical issues when the pnone was muted. All reasons to not hire overseas support for a cheap price. I had the service for 1 month and it has been a bad experience other than switching over. I will be switching to a new provider ASAP.
I am not too excited about Mint Mobile because I only switched to Mint Mobile a week ago now I can't receive or make calls and can't text or receive text. I was at work and my service went out (which is embarrassing) I called support and the issue was on their end but I have to wait 1-4 hour to have phone service which is unacceptable after paying for their promotions upfront.
Mint’s customer service is really good! An occasional distorted phone call happens from time to time, but not enough to be annoyed by. It’s so worth the switch!
This company uses bait and switch. If you are advertising unlimited data for a year it should be unlimited data for a year. Why do I have to keep going back and paying more because I run out of data. Stop saying unlimited data because it's not unlimited. Your data runs out you have to pay for more and its not just slower speed either it's no speed after 40gb.
