First off, the medicine: wow. Absolute game-changer. I have always been saddled with paralyzing stage fright to the point of embarrassing panic attacks. Hands and voice trembling, stomach in knots, just an absolute mess. It’s held me back from pursuing my dreams, and I’d basically given up hope of further advancement in my career due to my inability to speak in public. When I got targeted by a Kick ad on Facebook, I thought, what the hell? Worth a shot! I took the medicine in a trial run at a low-pressure talk I gave to a small group at work and felt really confident and calm. Much more collected and composed. But the real test was a speaking engagement I somehow managed to volunteer for at a big conference. I took two pills as instructed and was absolutely amazed at how effective they were. My talk was filmed, and it was like watching a whole other person - one who was kind of just like the REAL me, confident, charming, and, like, really, really ridiculously good-looking. I love knowing I have Kick as my secret weapon now!! And about Kick: what could be easier than filling out a form for your doctor and receiving your safe, life-changing medication at your door a few days later? The process was so smooth and straightforward, and the little cases they provide (one for home, one for my laptop bag) are perfect. ***EDIT - I was charged for 2 months, but only received enough medication for 10-20 days, depending whether I took 1 pill or 2 per night. I did not use any follow-up visits with a provider. I filled out a questionnaire at the beginning of the service, and received the initial 20 pills, but that was it.*** I was disappointed to be charged for a month when I received zero medication or medical care. They have not even bothered to respond to my request for refund, and it’s been almost two weeks. I may change my review if they ever reply, but as of now I have to highly recommend that everyone avoid this company for sleep issues.

I wish I had these years ago when I was in graduate school. I have terrible performance anxiety! From interviews to presentations, even just speaking up during a meeting, my heart would beat uncontrollably and my voice would shake while my mind would say "there's nothing to be scared of!" These are little miracle workers, it has changed my life. I just recently completed 3 rounds of interviews and I was so calm and relaxed. I didn't stumble over my words or start nervously rambling. I did so well that I got a job offer immediately after the last interview. This allows me to think clearly, be myself, and be confident! It's life-changing.

So I wanted to love this company and product and honestly I don't. The evaluation itself was easy. No doctor visit required, so it was convenient. The medication they give you is Pantoprazole, a blood pressure medication. It isn't for anxiety. No biggie, still wanted to see what the hype was about. When I went to check out, Kick mentioned that the medication would come in a slim "matchbook" style package that is discreet and easily concealed. When my medication arrived it was in a very large red RX bottle!!!! Seriously comical how non-discreet the packaging was. I reached out to Kick about this through their contact email address, even sent a picture of the bottle, and never received a reply. I decided to try it anyway. I took it before going out for dinner just to see what would happen. About 20 minutes in it hit me and I got really dizzy. That feeling made me more anxious than before. Once I came to, I still felt anxious but kind of detached in the conversations I was having. I felt weird. I can't imagine taking this before giving a speech. I don't think it would turn out well. I'm sure other people who have tried this medication have had a good experience, I just wanted to share my completely honest experience with it.

Ordered meds. They never arrived? I reached out and said as much. They said they were checking with the USPS. That was almost TEN DAYS AGO. No new message. No offer to re-send or refund. Nothing. Ghosted. UPDATE: Well, I was really hoping I could update in the positive. “Oh, someone finally got back to me and made it right.” NOPE. They said, “We’re refunding you. Seek care elsewhere.” WOW. What kind of medical establishment does that? Really unbelievable. Kind of floored that that was their answer. Avoid at all costs. SECOND UPDATE: WOW. I was just asked by someone (I believe at Kick) to give a reference number. I tried logging in and actually COMPLETELY DELETED MY ACCOUNT. Seriously. What a terrible company and terrible experience. I will share this wherever I can. NO ONE ELSE should be treated this way. In Response to GoKick: Did you READ this? It ACTUALLY DOES say I was refunded. But it also says that you ghosted me which you did. And with regards to the false claim of "investigating" that's BS and you know it. I was told to seek help elsewhere after mentioning the USPS issue and, when I complained that you waited TEN days to get back to me about anything, my account was erased. So we can now add being liars to your list of qualities. You even tried to convince Trustpilot I was lying. But I had the receipts and the review is still here. So that says everything I need to say. Says a lot about your company that you would try to lie and shift blame rather than take responsibility. Your company motto is "Built with Empathy". NOTHING about your response makes you seem empathetic in any way.
