Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

We found this home to be everything and more. It was laid out better than any other house we had previously rented. The bedrooms were comfortable and convenient. The kitchen, dining and living area was excellent. We would have 4-5 different groups conversing while we all felt we were still together. We had a couple of small issues and management would be over to quickly to address the issue. We have already rented this house for next year.

The Mare Moderno was one of the nicest rentals we have stayed at. In saying that, there were several minor issues that could be corrected making it Excellent. Several of the beds were extremely soft and sunk in. Bathrooms were very nice but, the shower pressure was terrible especially the rain shower heads in the master showers. Water trickles out, very poor. Water pressure on other heads not good either. There were several towel bars falling off the wall too. Some rooms were hotter at night, like the one next to the theater. Not consistent cooling and heating. The small kitchen oven didn’t work most of the week and the bigger oven didn’t heat up properly till they fixed it the day before Thanksgiving, thankfully! Nice having 2 dishwashers, refrigerators and several washer and dryers. The small fridge across from the large fridge froze over and it wouldn’t shut so we had to empty it and thaw it out. There were a few issues with the hot tub and pool being heated properly. Once we were shown how to work it, it was fine. Very nice pool and large hot tub. There really needs to be a book or sheet explaining how all the electronics work in the house, TV’s, audio, hot tub, pool, theater controls, etc. The access to the beach is not across the street. It is down about 2 blocks so carrying anything heavy was not good. Just an FYI, on the top floor, the bathroom has mold on the ceiling and wall where there might be a leak or was a leak but it’s pretty bad. TV on top floor didn’t have any cable to it, not working. The top deck was very nice! All and all, really nice and spacious, just some items need to be addressed. I would stay here again if I couldn’t get on the beach.

The master bed was very hard and we had trouble sleeping well on it. The sink faucet sprayed hard water when we used and it was frustrating. The towel rack fell down in the side bathroom when we tried to hand a towel on it. Also the toilet paper holder fell every time we used it. Also only 2 people could shower before the water would start to get cold. There are 5 people in our family, so we had a lot of cold showers. The view was great. The condo was clean. There were plenty of towels & the bedding was clean. We had a lot of fun in Destin but we were frustrated with condo and the multiple things that were wrong with it.

We were very happy with the house, it was a great choice for our Thanksgiving weekend. The house is maintained very clean and very well equipped with, extra towels as well as fully stocked with plenty of kitchen utensils. I do have some recommendations which are as follows, for such a big house a double oven would of been great when cooking for large amount of guest. Another suggestion is a wine cooler or a extra refrigerator for drinks maybe in garage. And, lastly the double bunk beds in the hallway have a wood piece under the mattress that make it very uncomfortable to get in and out of the bed. That should be looked at. Overall the home was lovely and we would love to rent again in the future. Beach access across the street and pool make it very convenient.

Overall the house was great. They responded to some minor issues quickly and we really loved our stay. I would recommend Five Star Properties.

The initial booking through FiveStar rentals was 5 Star. They were very friendly and communicated very promptly. Upon our arrival, we were very disappointed in the condition of the house. There were several issues that needed immediate attention and FiveStar Rental had the problem resolved very quickly. Other issues were cosmetic and the kitchen was poorly stocked with what we needed. The gas grill only worked on a very low temp which barely cooked our food. The pool area was very dirty. The soffit was missing and the attic is filled with squirrels which kept us up half the time. The carriage house had a very musty smell. Overall if the house had a lot of attention and had better housekeeping it is a great layout for a group. I would book again through this company just a different house.

We have been renting a Beachfront house every other Thanksgiving for the past 14 years. Have used several different rental companies over the years and have found this company to be outstanding. An example...always pay extra for pool heating this time of year and this is the first company that actually had the pool heated upon our arrival. Every other time (with different rental companies), had to call because pool not warm on arrival, then took a couple of days to either have pool people come or wait for pool to warm up. We did arrive earlier than the 4pm time and when I called, the house was ready and was given a new code to get into house. They checked in via text, phone call and email to make sure everything was OK. We had no issues with the house, it was just as we expected. Plan to use Five Star properties for our next Thanksgiving vacation!!

Beautiful home and great services! Will be going back!

The customer service was phenomenal. The house that we stayed in (Capitano) was beautiful but could have been a little cleaner. Some showers showed signs of mildew/black mold. I just felt for the price that we had to pay, the house should have been immaculate. I get we paid for the view and that we did, the view was awesome! We would probably stay again and had no real issues and if we did, they took care of it right away.

It was a beautiful house. There were a few things that could have been better. But this is what happen when you rent it out. And don't keep up with it.

Very please with our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and we truly enjoyed how spacious the rooms were.

We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. Great location and amenities. The condo was recently updated and very clean. Would return for another stay as soon as we can. The only issues we had were the master bath tolet did not work and there were stains on bed sheets. We brought our own so it didn't disrupt the stay but we did let management know about both before leaving.

Great Experience~ We stayed for a week at Beach Baby and enjoyed a clean, crisp house with top notch service. When we could not get the grill to heat up past 325 degrees, they sent out someone to fix it right away. Exceeded our expectations.

A lot of people were complained about customer service, but customer service was wonderful and fast. Also location was great and property was the same as pictures. Five Star Properties has a lots of wonderful properties. I can not wait to try more of Five Star Properties.

Excellent in every aspect!

The house was perfect, the stay was amazing, I was able to have the perfect beach wedding and my wife and me loved it, five star was there every step of the way to help me with anything I needed, Everything was great.

Luna Sea on Santa Rosa Beach was wonderful! The house was immaculate upon arrival.
