Not a great experience with Fitshop. Ordered a barbell and weights over the phone after taking advice on what I needed with the set-up I had at home. Goods arrived and barbell didn't work with the bench I have. Contacted Fitshop to arrange return of barbell (weights were all fine) and get a barbell that was the correct size etc. Asked me to pay for courier for return, told them that their employee insisted that the barbell would be fine so wasn't my fault. After many emails finally agreed to arrange return without a charge. Took weeks for courier to pick up barbell (went to wrong address, not available etc). Finally returned and then had an email to say the barbell was damaged and they would be deducting 35% from the cost of the barbell. Asked to see pictures, finally had them through and they were of a different barbell which had obviously been used. Sent them pictures of the barbell I returned and the packaging used and asked for an explanation. They finally agreed to refund the whole amount (the grand total of £22.48!) So they did all this to save £7.87! Still waiting for the refund from an order that was placed on 11 Sep 25 and over 40 emails later!

I saw there van at the top of the road when the message came through saying they'd left a card. No card was left. They didn't even come down the lane to the property. I contacted Fitshop customer services as the delivery company said it would be another 9 days before they could deliver. I asked itmf it couldn't be delivered earlier for an immediate reply. Fitshop's response, up to 14 days for a refund and a deduction of £70 for cancelling. No apologies for the inconvenience their delivery company has caused, no attempt to sayvwell well speak with deliver company. Absolutely appalling. I'm sorry you are not taking £70 off me, you need to take that off the delivery company and you are not keeping my money for 14 days. You took payment for the product immediately, you need to return it immediately.
I felt that I should provide some feedback on the experience received from Fitshop, From the start of my initial online questions, I have had an exceptional experience right through to visiting the shop and interacting specifically with Phil Hewitt. A knowledgeable, well experienced, patient and genuinely helpful guy. He took the time to really understand what I was looking for and offered thoughtful recommendations be email and also in the shop. The checkout process was smooth and efficient. Thank you for making customer care a top priority—shops like yours are hard to find..

I had the best experience with this shop and in particular with Phil Hewitt. I normally do lots of research before purchasing anything and pay attention to the reviews, after reading some of the reviews about delay in shipping, etc I decided to phone them directly and talked to Phil about the Compex Sp 8 and my concern with delays , etc … He was not only friendly and knowledgeable but was Compex arrived only 3 days later at my home address in Bristol. Also I am over the moon with this gadget im literally in love with it ! I also talked to another of his colleagues but cant remember his name , he was also very helpful , overall for me has been super good experience with this shop and the Compex in general.
Poor service 6 months wait I have been told for a plastic wheel for for the rear deck of my cardiostrong treadmill I’m stuck with a machine I paid nearly £3000 for as I can’t use without it or it will twist the running deck yet their still selling these products but won’t tell you if it breaks there is no parts

Danger!!! Do not buy weightbenches from them!! The BodyMax CF330 Deluxe Bench they sold me collapsed while I was mid-set on incline bench press. Almost killed me. The retaining pin fell apart. Fitshop refuse to deal with it. Legal proceedings are underway

I’m not sure I have the words! I am missing parts from my gym which I have now had for 2 months and I still can’t build the gym because they don’t hold stock of parts and the manufacturer is required to expedite. This week I have been told the parts don’t exist….. the manual (sent to Glasgow customer service) states otherwise. I was told to be more specific about the part. Not sure how more specific I can be with part numbers and pictures of the manual. Every time I call I get told they have escalated it, not sure where to though as nothing is happening. I have been waiting on a call back from a manager since Monday. At this point I wouldn’t recommend purchasing.
Brand-new £3k treadmill has arrived faulty out of the box and I waited over a week for any form of support. Now 2 weeks for an engineer to come to look at the faulty product.
