Uncooperative

Unfortunately, the car got hit by a stone and cracked the windscreen. Upon return, they immediately charged my credit card an amount for this. No problem, I understand they want to be sure they got their money. After they received the actual repair invoice, I wanted to pay the cost by direct debit to avoid the credit card fee, but they would not allow me to do this, so I had to pay the credit card fee out of my own pocket. The customer service people were quite rude when they 'handled' this issue.

Best car rental I’ve used.

Best car rental I’ve used. Landed Manchester airport from New Zealand and had no concerns at all with there service. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent car, good specs, really good drive. Definitely would use this company again. Thank you Sue

Filled the car fully on return to…

Filled the car fully on return to Wellinton about 300meters from drop off and they still took fuel money from my cc. Peevosiky I have had them try and Marge me for damage that was already ok the car luckily I had photos. Poor response but what do I expect from a company with such bad feedback. Use someone else these guys are scammers

Absolutely awful experience from the…

Absolutely awful experience from the team at Ezicar Queenstown airport! From the moment I dropped off the keys I was treated awfully. I have been hiring cars for 25years and usually when I drop off keys they ask if everything went okay and if I had a nice holiday. NOT BY THESE CROOKS - I was interrogated about the car and told to wait 10mins whilst the car was examined (even though my plane was boarding). When I queried this I was told it was because I hadn’t paid for the extra insurance! There is no extra insurance just a fee to discount the excess from $3000 to $500. They then went out of their way to show me a picture of a tiny ‘scratch’ on the underside of the bumper…. Incredibly this disappeared when my husband rubbed the dirt (scratch) off. Suddenly they found another one on the wheel arch. I was told that the repaint would be charged to my credit card!!!! We had not caused any damage and low and behold when we complained to head office discovered that this was an existing scratch!!! We were treated appallingly by very young adults that appeared to have a hidden agenda to belittle customers that would not be bullied into paying the excessive additional insurance. Over and over I was told this was necessary as I hadn’t paid the extra. In truth if the so called ‘damage’ was really there then I would have still had to pay as even with the additional extra payment $500 would still need to be forked out. The whole experience was awful I would definitely recommend avoiding this company at Queenstown airport. They managed to completely ruin my holiday.

Fantastic Experience - unfortunately had to cancel...

I booked a car for a planned ski holiday out of Christchurch which was ultimately cancelled for COVID. Ease of booking at the time was perfect and very straightforward. When the pandemic hit, customer service got in contact to confirm the booking and happily held it for me until I was sure I had to cancel. Once my flights were cancelled, I got in contact to cancel my car booking and it was done quickly and without issue. At all times customer service were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend and will be using Ezi in 2021 when i can return for our next trip.

I won't be using this company to hire a…

I won't be using this company to hire a car again. Service was disgraceful we stood in the queue for 1hr 45min only to be told our car was not ready. We had booked almost 4 months ahead so I expected it to be ready. All up the process took over 2hrs and put a bad start to our holiday. They clearly have not got enough staff or cars for the bookings.

EZ experience

EZ experience! I prefer rental counters and cars to be at the airport but that wasn't an option in Denver. EZ had the best rates and the car I wanted so I chose them. We waited less than 5 minutes for the shuttle to the lot and the driver was pleasant and helpful. Quick, courteous service at the counter and I was on my way. Return was just as quick and easy and the shuttle was there waiting to take us back to the airport. Highly recommend
