My French learning experience.
It was a marvelous experience where individuals from different countries, speaking different languages came together and communicated in the French language. I recommend this experience for everyone.
Eurocentres receives predominantly positive feedback, with many reviewers praising the quality of teachers and the supportive learning environment. Customers highlight the engaging and effective instruction, particularly at locations like Eurocentres Eltham and Atlantic Canada, where small class sizes foster interaction and personal growth. Reviewers appreciate the friendly staff and the sense of community developed during their studies. However, there are notable complaints regarding course management and communication issues, with some customers reporting problems such as course cancellations and difficulties in obtaining refunds. Additionally, a few reviews mention unprofessionalism in scheduling exams and inadequate facilities. Despite these criticisms, the overall sentiment remains largely favorable, reflecting a strong reputation for language learning.

My weeks of French lessons at Eurocentre in Lausanne were engaging, full of variety and supportive of all learning styles. Each of the teachers brings their own style which makes the learning process easier. Their professional and individual attention ensure positive results for all.
I'm a bit confused about why I'm being asked to comment now, but I can say the course in Amboise was wonderful. The teachers were interesting and helpful, and the homestay was perfect. The only issue was contact with the Eurocentres office in Zurich. My various representatives left the company or went on vacation, so I could never guarantee who, if anyone, would answer my queries. When my host's email didn't work, and my message with my arrival info bounced back to me, no one seemed concerned. After much pressure from my side about being sure they received the message, I was assured they had been contacted... but then received an email (from the office) the night before my departure claiming I had not informed anyone of my arrival. I responded immediately, but received no response to that, or to my complaint a few days later, after I discovered my host had not been informed, and had not even been sure I was coming. As I had to try and explain the situation in a language I did not yet speak, it was a frustrating beginning.
I really had great experience and gain enough knowledge in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
At the age of 14 I spent a year in a french school. Now I have been three weeks at your school in Amboise. There is no words for the difference. I want to say to the company: be very very careful of your personal there, they are worth their weight in gold. Quite fantastic. And i have spent lots of years in schools. This was optimal in every imaginable way.
Very efficient organisation, friendly and helpful staff, engaging curriculum.
My language course at Eurocentres London in Augustus 2015 was a great experience. One of my goals was to become more confident in speaking English and to have a recap of all relevant grammer for writing, and I definitely achieved that. The learning environment is great: friendly teachers, lots of literature available, social activities to participate in, and a useful online learning tool. Also the flexibility that you as a class (and even as individual) have in deciding what you want to learn and where you want to focus on is very valuable. One of the teachers was even willing to check the writing on my LinkedIn profile (thanks Ela!), which allows you to put all theory directly into practice. Enjoyed it a lot!
I would give 5 star if it wasn't for 1 things: During my first week there was one particularly assertive female student from Brazil who seemed to have something against Americans. I actually felt she was a little obsessed with me, seeking me out in the corridor or even the ladies room, insistently speaking english. Each time with obnoxious judgmental statements about "you Americans." Mainly she didn't think Americans spoke languages other than english. She shouted me down in class 3 different times literally preventing me from participating a couple of times. Once I asked the teacher a question but the Brazilian spoke first shouting "you speak english, you speak english!" It was an awkward moment that didn't make sense and the entire class was frozen in silence. The instructor continued on as if nothing had happened. Another time we were working in teams at the marker board. When I tried to participate the woman yelled loudly at me that I was wrong and stepped in front of me preventing me from reaching the marker board. Again, the entire class was silent in shock, as was I. I felt awful but not because I was wrong, my answer in the exercise was correct, but I felt belittled and did not know how to handle the agression. Never did the instructor speak up in my defense. Fortunately, that student was not there my 2nd week and my experience was so very much more pleasant.
Upon arriving I knew little to no French besides the odd word. While it was hard and challenging and requiring som self-studies, I felt I caught on pretty well with the support of staff and fellow students. I found it most useful to buy the grammar and vocabulary books on offer in the reception but you can get a long way with the handouts provided in class. I had an excellent time. Not a star but learned a lot giving me a good foundation to build and allowing me to move around with a reasonable level of confidence. Off to Montpellier in 10 days!!!
I tried Eurocentres school in Bournemouth only for 2 weeks, because I can't leave my job for longer period. I wanted to see and feel what does it mean to study English at a language school in England. And I haven't been disappointed. I liked the manner and pace that the teachers taught the students. The students in my group are of different ages, but all very motivated and take active part in every lesson activities. You have real possibility to practice English, to improve grammar and speaking, and to enrich your vocabulary. The school itself is small, quiet and comfortable. It has its own lunch facility. Staff very pleasant and attentive. If I have had possibility to study longer I would try 3 month as a minimum. And, of course, when you stay in England you have advantage to practice English all the time.
The best school. Best teachers and stuff. Thank you very much!!!
Great company, with very friendly and profession team.
An advanced student, I found the small class size and diverse program materials offered during the morning session to be quite valuable.
I've attended Eurocentres three times over the years, from two weeks to nine weeks each time. Even though I'm a senior citizen, I've always been made to feel at ease in class with mostly younger students from diverse countries. The environment is very non-threatening and fun. The faculty is top notch. Class activities are meaningful, playful, yet substantive and built on a logical sequence. I can't wait to go back for another stint.
I have been through so many schools trying to get my IELTS score and did not succeed . As soon as I begin my weeks in eurocenter I felt so confident and And different. For the first time I felt I was in the right place .
I had a great experience. It had a very big impact on my life. Teachers, students and environment is good. Of course London too.
I loved my time in London, studying at Eurocentres. Eurocentres is the best English school with the best teachers. There I improve my English and I made really good friends around the world.
