Would recommend to everyone!

The entire experience from start to finish with DIY Kitchens was positive. Not only are they the most competitively priced kitchens out there, in my opinion they also have the best range of style and colours. My kitchen looks like I've spent 5 x as much on it as we did, and designing it couldnt have been easier. The online support is superb

Thoroughly recommend this company.

The whole process was clear and straightforward and very helpful employers were only a phone call away. I vvisited the lovely showroom in Witney which gave me confidence in the quality of the kitchen I was buying and offered all kinds of extra ideas I had not thought of. I was terrified when I placed my order but all my miss calculations were picked on on receipt when it was checked. The kitchen arrived on time and looked fabulous once installed. These people are very helpful and certainly know what they were doing. They even sent Yorkshire tea and biscuits were thet installers tucked into before I realised that they had kindly been added by DIY kitchens!

Excellent Customer Service - Terrible Quality Control

Generally speaking the vast majority of the process has been very good. The delivery window/arrangements are not hugely helpful if you work out of the house full time but it is clearly documented at the point of ordering. The £30.00 design fee is 100% worth the money, the customer service there, and all the way through the process has been excellent and those people should be commended. Either by email or phone they are prompt and knowledgeable. The kitchen fits perfectly and the AEG appliances have all been spot on. However (hence the 3 stars).. the amount of items we have received with either damage or manufacturing fault has been ridiculous. Our kitchen had about 20 units and we have had several door fronts, plinths, fillers and drawer fronts which were clearly either damaged or suffered a fault in manufacturing. Scratches, chips, rough finished and poor paint finish. To make things worse, some replacement items have arrived in similar or worse condition than the originally faulty item. How?? Obviously through the fitting process all items are opened over a period of days/weeks, so we have had a lot of back and fourth. I could find minor discrepancies with lots more of the kitchen in terms of finish but at this stage I literally cannot be bothered to keep emailing them, just to receive items that will probably be damaged or faulty again. It is such a shame as the build quality is good, and overall it looks lovely. But DIYK, your QC processes need serious review. There is absolutely no way most of the damaged or faulty items we have received have been properly checked by anyone, or at least anyone who is interested. I am now about £500 worse off to date as I have had the fitters back on three occasions to replace damaged items as each time they take approx. a week to arrive. The customer service to arrange replacement items has been very good, but as a whole you are being massively let down by your QC processes, with what would have otherwise been a great experience.

Great products and flexible design options

We designed and bought a new kitchen from DIY kitchens, for our kitchen/diner room in a 3-bed semi. We loved several things about DIY kitchens: the range and quality of units and worktops was really good, and the online design tool let us take our time with ideas and layouts until we got just what we wanted for the space we had. We found the showroom really helpful and inspiring for making some final decisions about colours and finishes. We had a couple of issues: despite all the checks their staff run on the online designs, we were advised the wrong size for our island worktop, but they accepted this was their fault and exchanged it fairly and promptly. The coloured finish on our units scratched off easily during installation in places, but the touch-up kit worked well (unfortunately not included in the kitchen purchase). Communication was quick, easy, and helpful.

Very happy

We are really impressed with DIY kitchens and the quality of the cabinets, as well as the choice of style and colour. We shopped around and DIY came in far better value for money anywhere else, we ended up saving around £2,000-£3,000 compared to other kitchen providers. Overall very happy and would definitely use DIY Kitchens again.

Pricing Error & Extremely poor comms

We placed an order with Diy-kitchens, paid them a significant amount of money and had the order confirmed. We booked our fitter and then 2 days later I received 2 emails from them. The first suggested a tiny amend to our order which would incur a small additional charge - which iI accepted and asked how I made the the additional payment. Then followed a second email stating that due to a technical issue with their website, we had been undercharged and we owed them significantly more. Apparently, they (due to the technical glitch) had inadvertently not billed for the doors, and even said that the amount we were charged was not reflective of the actual basket price at the time (which it absolutely was and very much appeared to include the doors!). Their email didn’t even indicate the price delta they thought there to be. I duly responded in an email saying that in the circumstances I thought they’d should honour the price we had paid, especially as they had accepted the order. I then decided (in the circumstances) it would be better to be able to discuss this over the phone, so I called them and tried to speak to someone about this. I was told after being passed round 2 departments that the person who deals with it is not contactable by phone. At the time of writing despite multiple requests I’ve still not 1) had confirmation how much more they wish to charge us, 2) had someone call me 3) had an offer of some gesture of good will. I’ve just been told they are sorry and we have been undercharged. If you’re after i) a relatively stress free ordering experience, ii) staff who you can speak to over the phone to discuss a significant issue, and most importantly iii) clear transparent pricing that is not subject to change, I do not suggest choosing this company.

Couldn't be happier!

The quality of the cabinets and doors exceeded our expectations. We love the timeless look and have had endless comments on how expensive the completed kitchen looks. Everything from the easy online planning tool, the delivery and unboxing to find not only were they assembled well but the doors were already attached - amazing. Oh, and those flapjacks were the icing on the cake ;) We heard about DIY kitchens when googling UK kitchens and then followed up with research on YouTube. We saved over £3000 pounds but also believe we got a better product.

Love my kitchen .The quote came in at least 30% cheaper than any competitors, yet the quality was noticeably better. The cabinets are made from heavier, more solid wood, and the finishing touches—like the cabinet trims and door knobs—really stand out. I’ve been incredibly impressed with the kitchen, especially how well it’s held up to everyday life with two small children constantly climbing, opening doors, and exploring. My husband is a professional chef and so to say we are foodies and our kitchen is the heart of our home isn’t just a cliche for us. It’s both beautiful and remarkably durable.

We had a great experience with DIY Kitchens from start to finish. The planning stage felt a little daunting at first, but we managed it absolutely fine, and there was always someone on hand to answer our questions whenever we needed help. The showroom was fantastic and gave us lots of ideas for our kitchen. It was so helpful being able to see, touch and compare the products in person — especially the doors, drawers and worktops — before making our final decisions. Another big advantage is that the units arrive already assembled, which meant our kitchen fitter didn’t have to spend as long putting everything together. That made the installation process much smoother. On top of that, the prices were really competitive and saved us a significant amount compared to other options we looked at. Overall, we’re really pleased with both the service and the quality, and would definitely recommend DIY Kitchens.

Fabulous kitchen design and build

Fabulous kitchen design and build. We love the colour and style and the build is robust and sturdy. Assembling was minimal due to the kitchen delivered fully assembled. Communication with DIY Kitchens was very helpful professional and informative. Would highly recommend the company which I took from a family member of mine who has used the company in their previous and current homes.

As close to bespoke kitchen as possible

I was a bit nervous self designing my new kitchen but the diy-kitchens software was really simple and accurate. There’s staff on hand to help if you’re unsure. The build quality is as good as bespoke and the price of the cabinets was very reasonable. I used reclaimed teak school chemistry worktops and the finished result is stunning.

What an Amazing kitchen supplier these guys really are! Absolute hidden gem. We were recommended by a tradesman who had fitted 10 or more DIY kitchens and raved to us about the quality. I am so glad we chose to have a DIY kitchen as it was such good value and £££’s cheaper than other suppliers.

Stanbury Kitchen

We ordered our kitchen from DIY Kitchens last year. The planner was brilliant, we used this to decide on the actual layout we wanted, this changed from our original ideas to the plan we purchased. The fact you get hints and tips and advisories when you are planning really helps. We placed our order and it was easy to message the team with any queries. Delivery was the week we had been advised of. It would have been helpful to know the actual day at the beginning of the week so we can plan our week. The delivery team were fab - really friendly and helpful. I have recommended DIY Kitchens to friends and one purchased a new kitchen recently and were equally as happy as us with quality of the kitchen and the price.

Great Kitchens

I got my kitchen delivered about half a year ago, the service was brilliant as even though I checked my order to make sure it was as I needed, DIYKitchens reviewed the kitchen design before sending out the kitchen to make sure nothing was missed
