i have made a claim on the 04/05/2025 as i was robbed while travelling todays date is now 06/07/25 and im still awaiting the outcome when ever i email them i have to wait a week for a response this has been an awful experience!!!!
After a medical emergency in Italy, Direct travel appointed a case manager who arranged a safe journey home which included special assistance at the airport and taxis from the hospital in Pisa and from Manchester airport.
I'm pleased to say everything went smoothly and we returned safely.
I really can't thank them enough!
Customer Service is exceptional, Chloe the lady I spoke to was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly and as the Call Center is UK based there were no communication barriers experienced at all.

This is the second time this year I’ve taken out travel insurance, and both times I checked out other companies and found this the cheapest for the amount of cover I needed. The application process was easy and quick each time.
I cannot comment on how easy it is to make a claim, nor about how efficient they are after making a claim, as thankfully I never needed to, but the application process and price, and information provided was excellent.
