Mixed bag
I'm trying to support local business. Unfortunately you need to be prepared to wait and wait and wait... It took nearly 2 weeks to deliver a couple of type 1 bulk bags and decking boards to my place less than a mile away. Do not expect your online queries or refunds to be processed in a timely manner either. Maybe trade account holders have a different experience. On the plus side the delivery driver was very helpful, there is a decent choice and prices are acceptable.

We have always had excellent service…
We have always had excellent service from Coomers over the three years we have lived in Liphook. The staff in the shops are knowledgeable and helpful. The shops are always well stocked with quality goods and any deliveries are carried out with enormous care and attention to the needs of the customer. We are delighted to have such a wonderful builders' merchants within easy reach. With lockdown, all products have now gone online and so click and collect has now become available which is very convenient.

Product quality not what I expected
Failed to deliver on the agreed date, but apologised for their cock-up &got it right next working day. The ply I ordered(Malasion hardwood) looked OK until I cut it. I found it had numerous internal voids meaning several compromises in how I used it, keeping voids away from edges and dad's. Wouldn't buy this product again.

Order for decking stuff
I placed my order for decking joists and boards online. Not long after placing my order I was contacted by telephone to discuss delivery. I was told that i would have to wait 10 days for delivery. I was happy with this considering the present conditions regarding COVID 19 etc. About 5 days after this my order arrived. I was both surprised and pleased. In summary the whole thing was a very good experience.
