The whole system worked pretty well. I DID get a lawyer. My lawyer was $600 and gave me $200 off. There was a short, six-page contract I wanted reviewed, not even in depth, just if anything really eye-opening jumped out. Then I only got a 30-minute phone call to go over it with her. We did go over in time a little by ten minutes or so. It was way beyond my budget, especially for the time spent, but I know lawyers are expensive and no one at Lawyers for the Arts got back to me in time, so I was more or less gratified for at least a partial resolution.

Sent project out for bids immediately. Sent step by step guidance via email. Easy to use website.

I posted my summary for the service needed and based on my particular needs within 24 hours I had 5 different lawyers from all over the United States willing to assist! We decided on a lawyer that posted close to home so we could potentially use their expertise for the future when needed. Our Lawyer Erik was professional, expedient, thorough, and very knowledgeable! We were very satisfied with the personal service provided by our lawyer and thrilled that there is a way to access lawyers for a particular need through this website!

I bid on a contract and after a few text exchange and a 30min call, the service were no longer needed. The lawyer decided to charge me for his consulting time, however instead of charging for based on the realms of the bid which was 695 for writing a contract, he decides to up his charges to $595/hrs for consultation and tell me he is biling for 1.5hrs to consult. Making it a total of $893 but then he says he will give me a discount of $200 to bring it to $600. And he believed he was doing me a favor. He is charging $600 for a 30min call and no written contract done. I reached out to customer service and no one responded. UPDATE: Management reached out to me a few hours later after reading my review. They expressed genuine concern and intent to resolve the matter after via direct phone. I did appreciate Ryan's empathy and willingness to resolve the matter which he promised to follow back up once they spoke directly to the lawyer. So am good with the outcome of the matter.

Three bids within 48 hours, two of which looked great. The interface of the site is extremely fluid and professional. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I really appreciate this service. ContractsCounsel got me in touch with several great options for attorneys. I only took off a star as, while I wanted email updates, I didn't want sooo many emails- I didn't need an email for every single notification. I would have preferred to get one email summary each day while collecting bids.

The comments given was it was pretty straight forward contract I had given to another lawyer to review and he stated his advice for more then 10 items on the contract to consider! Had no clue for realestate contracts and I would like to have my money back. I had missed a zoom call I was 15 min late and for that I’ll pay a 100 dollars but remaining money should be refunded
