I bid on a contract and after a few text exchange and a 30min call, the service were no longer needed. The lawyer decided to charge me for his consulting time, however instead of charging for based on the realms of the bid which was 695 for writing a contract, he decides to up his charges to $595/hrs for consultation and tell me he is biling for 1.5hrs to consult. Making it a total of $893 but then he says he will give me a discount of $200 to bring it to $600. And he believed he was doing me a favor. He is charging $600 for a 30min call and no written contract done. I reached out to customer service and no one responded. UPDATE: Management reached out to me a few hours later after reading my review. They expressed genuine concern and intent to resolve the matter after via direct phone. I did appreciate Ryan's empathy and willingness to resolve the matter which he promised to follow back up once they spoke directly to the lawyer. So am good with the outcome of the matter.
