Had another great piece of work done by Ben with fitting a new radiator in the front room. He did the job very professionally and cleared up all the mess and removed the old radiator and installed the new one and put everything back in the room. Thank you Ben and Centrona for excellent service.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Tom from Centrona Gas. Tom replaced our kitchen sink under the service expert plan we have with Centrona. Tom arrived promptly, worked hard, and installed our new deep pocket sink no time. What really stood out was his professionalism and the way he explained everything in simple terms. He even took the time to ensure everything was spotless before he left. Very happy with the service plan I have with Centrona.

I cannot speak highly enough of Centrona Gas. We had an ongoing issue with our air conditioning unit that no one seemed able to fix, until Mike from Centrona Gas came along. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it resolved within the hour. Mike was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers. We'll definitely be sticking with Centrona Gas for all our future needs.

Our boiler stopped working last night so I called this morning and spoke to Rachel who was very friendly and helpful. She organised one of the plumbers to be with me today. The plumber arrived within a few hours and managed to get the hot water back up and running. Very happy with the service.
Engineer arrived this afternoon to fix my leaking boiler. I called at 10 am this morning so I was very pleased you were able to schedule a visit within a few hours! I can tell you first hand John the engineer was very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I highly recommend this firm to anyone.

Truly outstanding company! They make sure to notify me when my boiler service is due, schedule the appointment quickly, and send a text when the engineer is on his way. Punctual as always, and is incredibly friendly and professional. The service certificate arrives almost immediately after the engineer leaves. I’ve had a contract with Centrona for 7 years and the monthly cost of the contract has only increased once in all that time, so it’s easy for budgeting. Highly recommend!
[Updated: The works have now been completed to my satisfaction. I have been offered an apology and a partial refund for the inconvenience. They have assured that this was an exceptional case, and this is not the standard of service that they strive to deliver.] I booked and paid up front for simple works (<0.5day) to my home in November. Despite multiple appointments (8) over the past 3.5 months, this work has not yet been completed. Engineer has not showed up once, I have had three visits where someone attended but couldn't finish the work because they didn't have parts / didn't have the necessary qualifications. Usually appointments are cancelled on the day, after I contact both the office and the engineer involved, so I have already missed work and rearranged my schedule. Excuses have included: engineer is sick, engineer is on leave, van is broken, parts not available (and have not been ordered). I am calling nearly daily now between trying to get resolution with the manager, main office and engineer in question. Despite being assured it will be resolved imminently (since January) I am still waiting and have been offered an appointment in two weeks time as they have no engineers available that can complete the work. I have made a formal complaint to the company which has not been responded to. I have also complained to CIPHE (but they are falsely advertising that they are members). So far they have offered refund of parts, but this isn't acceptable as I have also paid for labour. I would recommend avoiding booking at the moment, as there are clearly internal resourcing issues. As they require full payment up front, I would recommend using a credit card.
Centrona gas has been maintaining my boiler for the past 12 years. They are always available and on time. My boiler broke down last week - Centrona Gas were able to diagnose the issue quickly, offer me alternative solutions and eventually install a new boiler within two days. Very dependable company - and local as well.
John and his team did my job professionally, I have not complainants. I use them again.
Excellent engineer, Ben. Arrived on time and completed the replacement of our boiler in a day. Took the time to explain what he had done and controls. Would highly recommend.
Can’t fault this company. Jon has been great to arranging the appointment at a suitable time for me. Paul was really helpful at identifying the problem with our boiler and fixing it quickly.
I cannot praise the guys enough! They're were a few teething issues with the installation but they got everything done working around us and our availability. We dealt with predominantly with Ben and he was excellent! He was friendly, super tidy in his work and explained the process so that we knew what was being done and why. Cannot recommend enough!
I've been using Centrona gas for years and they are excellent, would absolutely recommend. They are reliable, efficient, and really helpful; mostly I've used them for regular services but on a few occasions have had some issues/problems which they've managed to fix quickly and efficiently. Big thanks as well to Paul who is our regular engineer and is a really lovely and helpful man!
