Buyers beware On collection the car wasn't as described. The car needs a full respray. Pics of the car were taken and sent to car & classic. Nothing has been done. This is now in the hands of my solicitors. Stay clear

Great Experience Selling our VW Campervan by Auction
I have just sold our VW Campervan through the auction service, Every aspect of the process was smooth and efficient. Kate Wingfield was excellent to deal with, very professional and responsive and helped to plan and manage the auction process to ensure maximum interest and a successful sale. The vehicle sold for a figure that met our expectations. The escrow payment process was straightforward, secure, and avoided the usual concerns when handling large sums in a private sale situation. Very impressed
Very impressed. I tried another online auction which realised almost 5% of my expected price but Car & Classic had a great understanding of the car and its market value and were sure they could get a realistic price so I decided to let them have the car. All the real bidding was on the final day and I sold the car at very close to the reserve. The whole process was handled extremely professionally. The buyer collected the car and I was paid almost immediately. Nothing but praise for the whole team.

A convert to auction selling!
I have never considered selling a Classic car through an on-line auction before. After I spoke to one of the Auction team I decided to "give it a go" From start to finish the whole experience was well explained, smooth and easy to complete. I obtained an excellent price for my car - and the whole process from initial contact to money in my Bank Account only took 3 weeks! Will I do it again - YES!
