My husband and I love a robust coffee, we prefer beans, and we like to buy in bulk. We discovered Blackout Coffee about a year ago, and Brewtal Awakening is our fave! A 5 lb. bag lasts about 6 weeks, and the beans stay fresh in our canning jars. Dee-licious!
Excellent coffee and love that its not a woke company
I felt like this flavor was very minimal and did not taste anything like a chocolate egg but my wife said it was delicious. It tastes smooth like all Blackout Coffee. The flavor was just weaker than others.

was really disappointed with Blackout Coffee. The espresso I had was unacceptably bad-tasted like brown water with no flavor, which is surprising given the equipment they use. The dark roast is overly roasted, with unpleasant burnt and rubbery notes that linger in the grinder for a long time despite cleaning efforts. The drip coffee was bland and watery, lacking any depth or richness. Overall, the coffee quality feels inconsistent and far from specialty standards, making it hard to justify the price or hype around the brand. If you want good coffee, look elsewhere.
The coffee is excellent and arrives quickly when ordered. We have ordered on several occasions and enjoy the unique flavors offered.
Coffee is really expensive and isn’t any better than a Maxwell house or a Kroger brand. Save your money and buy something cheaper or better.

I am all about supporting small businesses but I learned a lesson when it came to Blackout coffee. Placed an order the first of December and still have NOT received my order. I have contacted the company with no resolve. I demanded my money back but just crickets. Please beware and think twice before placing your order. There are other small company coffee sellers that are wonderful!

Terrible customer service with no compensation!!! Do not buy from blackout coffee company you will never receive your order for their lack of not sending out packages promptly or properly!!! They even charge extra to ship ups or fedex ground after spending 80 bucks it’s nuts!!! These people need to be shutdown!!! It’s theft at its finest!!!

One of the company owners plays a mobile game called Star Trek Fleet Commander. He says he owns 15% of the company and advertises the coffee tell people to pay the troll. Things described about what is available does not match the company website's mission. The things said about marines in a negative connotation doesn't match either.
Ordered 5 lb whole bean morning reaper. Weak, bland coffee when made to their recommended ratio so I doubled the ratio and is acceptable but still not good for a medium roast. Shipping took 9 days from Fl. to Tn. which is lame, but the sorriest part is I posted 2 different 3 star reviews on Blackouts website and neither one was posted or responded to, so their reviews are censored, not honest.
Love your coffee. Its a little bit pricey but either purchase the ground coffee or coffee beans. Ships in a reasonable amount of time.
Tastes like used coffee pods, you know when you forget to change it and you run it through again... I asked for a refund they refused. They're coffee sucks
no contest - best coffee in the business. i can't drink anything else anymore. smooth, full of flavor and soothing. They did have a shipping issue for a couple weeks, but they changed warehouses now, and everything arrives now within 2-3 days. love them!
I enjoy trying different brands of coffee because I love coffee! I look up coffee roasters online and when one catches my eye, I research it. I like what Blackout Coffee roasters stands for, true Americans! So I tried Brewtal Awakening. I like it, I enjoy it but I don't love it. It's a dark roast which is smooth, but to me, the flavor just didn't have anything special. I have been steadily buying from 2 wwll known/reputable roasters in Northern CA. for the past few years and recently a local one near me in Reno, NV. So far my favorite is my local shop Hub Roasters! Excellent coffee, especially their Clandestino. It's a dark roast, so smooth I didn't even add my usual sugar & cream. It has an awesome flavor, like no other. I'm glad I tried Blackout Coffee but if a coffee doesn't make my love list, I've got to stick with what I love.
The last 2 orders I placed, either Blackout Coffee or Amazon Shipping held onto my package. The first order was 3 days past the original delivery date and the latest order is now 4 days (and counting) late with no updated information. Still showing being delivered a few days ago. Be aware that this is an issue and Blackout Coffee takes NO responsibility. Basically “ YOU GET IT WHEN YOU GET IT”.
Just placed our first order and coffe was shipped over a week ago. We still have not received it yet and the company won’t respond to our email inquiry. They claim “lightning-fast shipping” on their website. NOT! Will never buy from them again, even if the coffee is good (if it ever arrives)
