1 star too many! I was involved in a serious car accident where a drunk and drugged up person ran into the side of my car. I paid extra for legal cover, they assigned a solicitors Lyon Davidson, but due to the nature of the case I needed to be sure on their ability to handle this claim...not only did they have a 1.8 star rating, but I also find out that they were a personal injury solicitor which doesn't help in the slightest, so when I called to query about changing they confirmed that the solicitors not only doesn't deal with criminal law, but that they were the only solicitors they dealt with. They had no answer for why this wasn't advised at the time of the claim nor on the day I called to arrange the solicitors. I was literally given no explanation at all and might as well of spoken to my 10yr old nephew! So now, I'm paying extra for legal cover I am unable to claim on, wasted my time opening a claim that is useless which I will be withdrawing, and speaking to very incompetent staff. This whole ordeal is literally killing me and I wish it on no one, so for them to say 'we understand' was a slap in the face, as until you have experienced this yourself, with the no sleep, flashbacks of him hitting your car, being scared to drive and having your entire confidence shattered, you will never understand! I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a company who came highly recommended IN RESPONSE TO AXA STILL WAITING FOR THIS EMAIL..... I'm also uncertain what further information you require seeing as I requested an official complaint to be put through whilst I was on the phone, as well as sending my full complaint on email as well. This is appalling and further confirmation as to the shocking service I've received
It is impossible to get anything sorted on the phone. Have been on for hours regarding our car accident claim (in February) only to be handed round and then cut off. Regardless of promised return call, non come. I have tried the email approach, this also promises a return within 5 days, non yet. Had a threat of legal action for not making contact though. My car is storage and costing me a fortune. There is no way of getting in contact and getting an answer to the issue. All I keep being asked to do is ring this and that number, but I fear it will be a waste of time. Hope the calls are free or my bill will be horrendous.
Fast easy to use system at affordable prices
I recently removed my wife as an additional driver and the cost of my policy increased by around £4 per month! This doesn't make sense to me. The website was reasonably easy to use.
