Worst Experience – No Support, Cancelled Flights & AED 2529 Lost! I had an extremely disappointing experience with Alternative Airlines and strongly advise others to avoid booking through them alternativeairlines. I booked a round-trip from Dubai to Trivandrum through their platform. Here's what went wrong: 1. Outbound Flight Cancelled Due to War (24 June 2025): My Air India flight was cancelled due to war-related disruptions. I informed their support, but they denied the cancellation and asked me to provide proof — in the middle of a crisis. Completely unacceptable. 2. Name Correction Mishandled on Return Flight: I requested a name correction for my Emirates return ticket via email. They confirmed the update but cancelled the ticket without informing me. I only found out by contacting Emirates directly. 3. Total Loss of AED 2529: Due to their poor handling, I had to rebook both flights at my own expense, costing me AED 2529. 4. No Proper Response: Despite multiple emails and chat messages, I received no proper or helpful response from their support team. Summary of My Experience: No support during war-related cancellations Booking errors and poor handling Unresponsive customer service Lost AED 2529 with no resolution This was easily one of the worst travel booking experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid alternativeairlines — don’t risk your money or peace of mind.
