Waterbabies is a fun way to teach children how to swim and water safety. Our teacher (Nicky) is amazing, enthusiastic and caring. We would recommend.

Instructor Nikki is brilliant, super attentive and reassuring especially during underwater bits! All babies are equals so there's not one "ahead" of another, nice small class sizes, and it's amazing to see the little ones take off! Just wish there were classes slightly earlier in the day. Little things like the next class coming straight into the pool/jumping in when the youngest kids are still coming out of their session is a tad annoying and sometimes it's their adults that do this first which is a terrible sign of manners but nothing directly to do with water babies. Also the pool can sometimes be noisy but understandable considering the rest of the pool is being utilised by hotel guests.

The class is great, the facilities not so much. No changing tables / changing mats provided by the company which makes is very difficult for the parents.

The swimming lessons overall were great but there cancellation policy not so great. My daughter was ill in hospital but they required proof to show she had been in hospital and the doctors had said she shouldn’t swim. Sometimes I lost a lot of money due to my daughter being in hospital many times and then requiring a doctors note which I was told I would have to pay for.

The teachers are fantastic, the lessons are just the right balance of time in the water and learning new skills that also help strengthen my baby outside the water. I 1000% recommend water babies to anyone with a newborn. It’s worth every penny. I’ve watched my oldest progress so much in 4 years now watching my twins start and enjoy it is so rewarding. I can’t wait to watch them grow with water babies.

I loved Water Babies when I went through the programme with my now 14 yr old, so always knew I would do the same for my youngest coming up to 4. Water Babies is our favourite time of the week where we get time just for us I work full time but water babies ensures I have good quality bonding time. We have a whole routine we do just for us two but not only that the progress she’s achieved over the years is incredible. She’s already swimming safely the programme has developed immensely but still have the water babies classics that we did with my 14 yr old and we’ve used those together as family on holiday. We love it and will miss it once she completed the programme. I would choose Water Babies over and over again.

Lizzy helped my little boy build his confidence and find his love for water. It took so much time for this to happen but Lizzy was always so patient and let him do everything at his own pace and now he absolutely loves going under the water ☺️

We started taking out baby to water babies when she was around 2 months old. She was a little water shy at first but now she seems to really enjoy herself and no more tears ! The instructor is incredible with babies and so knowledgable. We really trust her. The pool is lovely (a warm Hydropool). I also love knowing my baby is learning new skills and also the hobby is already supporting her development.

I was nervous as it was a new pool location and didn’t know what to expect with the photoshoot but it was brilliant and a great team on site to help with everything. I also understand the price way more - you have two team members assisting pool side with people coming in and out, changing etc. One in the pool running the lesson for your group, one dipping and the photographer so that’s 5 members of staff to make it work. It was really well organised, you have a Water Babies lesson and at the side of the pool is the photo set up, you get called out your group in turns to come take your dip and then rejoin the lesson. There was a lot going on but it wasn’t overwhelming or stressful - we had a great time as a family and both me and my husband did part of the lesson and dips each plus a group photo at the end… wear you hair lose (better photo!). Highly recommend and I saw one glimpse of an image and loved it so super excited for the finished shots!

We have been bringing our daughter to Water Babies for over a year, and I don't know if she loves it more or if we do! Debi is an amazing instructor, so calm and supportive, and always makes the time and effort to get to know all the children and parents, making the class a wholesome and enjoyable experience every time. We feel absolutely safe and confident with Debi and know that our little one is getting the best out of every lesson. She has developed so much since she started, and absolutely loves the water. I would always recommend Water Babies, and especially any class that has Debi in!

Love the structure of waterbabies and how it builds upon skills each week. It really builds up confidence in the water.

Fantastic teachers and enjoyable lessons.

Our daughter has been having swimming lessons with Water Babies for over 3 years. At all stages, the lessons have been full of skills content and fun. She loves the lessons each week (so do I) and we have made good friends in the classes we’ve attended. Our swimming teacher Jackie has always given 100% to make sure all the children make great progress. It’s always very clear why we’re doing what we’re doing. It’s been wonderful to see our daughter developing into a competent swimmer, but most of all she is confident and safe in the water and absolutely loves swimming. We couldn’t be more pleased!

Water Babies is a great company, I have been swimming with my daughter since she was 9 weeks old. The sessions are tailored for the babies and she is now very confident in the water and loves splashing around. It’s also great for teaching littluns safety skills.

Teacher Catherine at Hazelmere is wonderful, so gentle and intuitive with her approach. My little girl thrives in her class.

We have been swimming with Water Babies for the past few months and we love seeing the progress our now 7 month old has made- he loves kicking and splashing and his confidence going under is growing by the week! Highlight of our week!

I would like I would like to give 5 stars but there is one negative thing. No one thinks about the safety of children when changing in the changing room. Children do not have changing tables or chairs with belts. Small children lie on beds so it is not a problem but children aged 8-12 months start to move. You cannot put them on a bench or bed because they will fall, the floors are dirty and wet with the last group. Parents have a hard time after leaving the pool, maybe it would be worth investing in chairs that the teacher can later take away like the rest of the equipment.
