Great lessons, and flexible

Lovely wonderful environment friendly to all parents and children feel at home easy to make friends there and the teachers are amazing and do their best to ensure that you have a great AND effective experience, they fit a lot in in the classes in the space of time that they have to work with the dedicated ensuring each child understands each step I couldn’t ask for a better place to take my daughter, she’s gained so much more confidence during this time we’ve been attending water babies and I would recommend for all parents to give it a go!! ❤️ 10/10 !! Wish I’d even started sooner.

We had a photoshoot done in Acomb, York. The changing room was small but it was fantastic to see his regular teacher there as it helped his confidence. It was really well organised with the Water Babies teachers taking turns to activities in the water to entertain us and keep us warm until it was out turn to be photographed. If the shoot wasn't right, they retook it. The photographer dipped under as I let go of him but there was another teacher there to monitor and keep us both safe just in case. The photos didn't take long to be processed and got sent so I have digital copies to keep forever. I put some Christmas money towards the cost which worked for us.

My son has been swimming with water babies since he was eight weeks old. He has just completed the baby classes and got his badge - love this extra touch. The lessons are so engaging for babies with all the songs. He loves the water, is a real water baby and looks forward to his lesson each week. I really enjoy it too! Onto the toddler lessons now. I’d recommend water babies to everyone 5 ⭐️

Love,love,love water babies. Best thing we have ever done with our kids is take them to these lessons the teachers are fantastic and patient. It’s a life skill I didn’t learn early enough. I love the balance of teaching our babies a new life skill while also spending quality one on one time with each of my children (4 years old and 4month old twins)

Water babies has been a wonderful experience for my little one and for me. We have attended classes since he was 4 months old and I love seeing the progress he makes each week. I love the time I get to bond with my baby each week and our instructor is fabulous. The hydro pool is warm and I look forward to going each week.

We’ve been attending Water Babies weekly with our little boy Arthur, who’s currently 10 months old, and it’s been such a wonderful experience. Arthur absolutely loves the water, and it’s amazing to watch his confidence grow each week. Our instructor, Sarah, is fantastic—gentle, encouraging, and so attentive to each child’s needs. It’s clear how much thought goes into every session, and seeing Arthur become more comfortable and happy in the water each time is such a joy. We couldn’t recommend it more!

We have been swimming with Waterbabies with our eldest for 3 years, since he was 8 weeks old, and he has loved every second. We are now swimming with our youngest too, and he is enjoying the lessons just as much. Both boys absolutely adore their teacher Claire, as do we as parents. She is kind, friendly and fun, and makes learning safety skills such a joy for them. We have had to move classes over the years, including missing classes for holidays or illness etc, and have always found the staff at HQ super helpful and accommodating. We have also had issues with pools being broken, which is of course not the fault of Waterbabies, and they have always gone out of their way to help rearrange classes etc when I've called.

We look forward to our Sunday swimming lesson. We started when my boy was 5 months old. The improvement I have seen in the pool and outside the pool is immense. He has now moved up in class and we couldn’t be happier. He is always smiling and loves his teacher. She is so engaging and he does not take his eyes off her!

I just love water babies. Our teacher Nina is amazing. We started going from 8 weeks and its been so nice to have this every week to go to. It can be quite isolating as a new mum and this has really helped me and my baby to get out of the house and enjoy an activity together. He is now super confident in the water and so am I!

By far my favourite class to take my baby boy. Been attending since 3montha old (now 10 months) and his confidence in the water is a delight to see. Classes are so well organised and his teacher (and any other teacher we’ve met) is so lovely and welcoming… AND so knowledgable! Cant say a bad word about Water Babies

Love love waterbabies - but especially our teacher, jackie. We have been swimming with her since joe was 3 months old (now 3) and she is the best. Calm, funny, great with the kids, and joe has come on so much. He adores the water. Recommend anyone to join waterbabies - and if you get jackie, lucky you!

We absolutely love our lessons with Waterbabies. Our eldest started at 9 months and has just graduated, complete with her Swim England Level 3. Jackie managed to take a little girl who was afraid to get her face wet and turn her in to a canon-balling, diving and amazingly confident 10 metre swimmer ! Our youngest has Down Syndrome and the team assured us that there was no reason she couldn’t join classes too, so she began at just 5 weeks old and is absolutely thriving and maintaining pace with her peers, 3.5 years later. Jackie has been amazing with her and knows exactly how to adapt activities to best support her when needed. We’ve had other teachers over the years when we’ve needed to swap a session and they have all been truly brilliant, but Jackie really is outstanding, an absolute asset to the team.

The instructor is fantastic, she provides a relaxed and fun space for my baby to learn this important life skill, and gives me the confidence to take my baby in the water. Highly recommended

Started swimming lessons with water babies when my daughter was 6 months old. She has become so confident in the water and loves her lessons, sometimes it's difficult to get her out!
