Kathrin has been an amazing teacher for the last year... Very friendly and engaging with the children and able to lead the lesson so that all the children get to improve and have a good time.

The swim instructors are fantastic, we had 2 in our time with water babies. From our first lesson when my little one was 6 weeks old to my last session when she was 8 months old. They were kind, helpful & most of all kept us safe in the water whilst having fun and bonding with our babies. It definitely helped my confidence & my little one has always loved the water & isn't scared at all. The only reason for 1 star short of 5 was the venue, because it is a private school it wasn't catered for the usual public swimming. So the changing facilities weren't set up with cubicles, showers, changing tables for babies etc. However, it was very local for us, so we were happy to compromise on this. We could have had lessons further afield with a more formal changing facility but this wasn't practical for us to travel.

Toria the waterbabies instructor at jethen house is absolutely amazing!! She goes above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable, supported and heard. Nothing is too much trouble and any concerns you have regarding swimming with your little one is always taken into consideration and the support you didnt even know you needed is alway's given to make you feel confident and ready to swim with you baby. You can really tell the passion she has for waterbabies not only as an instructor but also as a parent who has been through it twice. Im so so glad I chose waterbabies and im so so glad we were put into Torias class.

Lessons are progressive and so much fun for me and my daughter. We have been attending since she was 12 weeks old and have no intentions to stop. The confidence gained in just 14 weeks is incredible. Lessons do tend to run late meaning we start later than expected, and this obviously will happen when dealing with children! but I have noticed that our session is occasionally cut five minutes short which is disappointing considering each session is over £20 for half hour.

Natalie is just absolutely incredible! I can't believe how much she has helped Millie to grow in confidence and she genuinely spends her whole lessons smiling away every week. She has learnt so much in such a short space of time and I can't wait to continue her lessons.

Great teachers who care about their little swimming stars. The office staff are really helpful and friendly. The booking and payment systems are easy to use. The pool we use to swim is a little unloved. It could do with a refurbishment and an additional really deep clean but it's still a nice environment.

The classes are well organized with similar aged children. The teacher is great with the parents and children and the lesson is interesting, varied and fun. I have noticed that over the weeks, the children in the lesson have improved in confidence and ability. You can see how they love the swimming experience.

We started last this feb 2025 with my son Anakin and couldn’t thank water babies enough!!! He has learnt so much and will be carrying on with water babies next term, April is an amazing teacher very kind and has taught my son so much xx

My daughter started swimming with Water babies at 3 months. We are both learning new skills and it has made me feel confident to take her swimming alone. Beth is a great teacher and I can see how the songs and activities are translating into water safety and swimming techniques. Living by the coast I wanted my daughter to grow to be a capable water woman and I feel Water babies is the best starting step towards that.

Even though my baby is still having a hard time enjoying swimming and hasn’t made big progress yet, but I’m giving 5stars. and I just want to say how truly grateful I am for our teacher. She is incredibly talented, kind, and patient, not just with the babies, but with the parents too. She speaks to my son with so much warmth and care, and she always takes the time to help me feel supported and encouraged, even when it’s tough. I never feel judged — only supported. Her positive energy and gentle approach are the reason I want to keep going, even through the challenging moments. Thank you for all the effort you put into each lesson. You make a real difference, and I’m so glad we have you on this journey.

Classes went very well..!

Really fun lessons where you can see your little one develop skills each lesson. The office staff are very helpful with lessons changes. Chelsie is an amazing instructor! Looses a star solely based on price. I am aware it's the going rate across alot of baby swims but when maternity pay is rubbish, £20odd a swim is alot, especially when lots of classes are missed with baby being ill. The catch up tokens are a good idea to resolve this, but limited local catch up options. Overall very positive experience.

I started taking my son from when he was 12 weeks old . I felt very welcomed and trusted the instructor immediately. Very happy bubily instructor. My husband now takes our son and not only is this a great bonding session, but my husband looks forward to the sessions. Our little one is always excited as soon as he gets into the water. Would 1000% recommend to do this.

The pool at Mandeville School is a little small, however the teacher is friendly and knows how to deal with the children and encourages them all.

We have used water babies since 5 weeks old and have used 3 different locations for water babies lessons due to our back to work schedules changing. All 3 locations were very clean, the teachers are incredible and give lots of praise and confidence. The lessons are very interactive with lots of songs, games and fun filled Activities.

My daughter has been thriving with her lessons at water babies! She is more confident every time and loves to swim now. I can't thank you enough water babies has been the best decision to attend for my daughter thank you.

Absolutely loved water babies from the minute my 8 week old baby started his lessons. He suffered from hiccups quite badly during the newborn stage so water babies offered me free catch up lessons so ensure he didn’t fall behind on the programme as you can’t swim a baby when they have hiccups. Mairead made not only Alex feel comfortable when swimming but me aswel, I have a video of his first swim and Mairead puts her hand on my shoulder to make sure I’m okay after my little one has been under the water and it really shows that she cares about the babies and parents!! She remembered my little ones name from day 1 and she could not be more approachable and friendly if she tried. Any emails sent are replied to straight away , again, a brilliant brilliant company x
