Threats and harassment.
We have used Utility Savers previously and were quite happy. This time we have kept receiving multiple calls (15-20/day) as our contract with our current energy supplier is up in 1 years time. They pose as different suppliers and give high quotes (whilst recommending we go with our 'Broker') then call back as Utility Savers with a lower one. Told them we were not interested at the moment and they started to threaten us with an auto renewal and stated they would sign us up with a new account anyway and take money from our bank. They harrased our staff and insulted our directors. I note they use spoof and untraceable numbers to carry out their sale technique. Ironically we would probably have signed up if they were professional and accepted that it was not an immediate priority. TBH quite shocked given the generally good reviews on here. I have sent contact details to Utility Savers as they requested but they have not been in touch and apparently have now objected Trustpilot about this review. For clarification the worst multiple calls were received from 7th November - 10th November to our landline and mobiles. Numbers were 0113 274 3322 01947 340227 and 0116 216 5900. These were verified and confirmed by referring to E-Mail quotes from Utility Savers. Other numbers were used but each claimed to be from a different energy supplier but all recommended we use our Broker and informed us it was Utility Savers. As we were suspicious we gave each call some unique information which somehow was known in our calls from Utility Savers. In an attempt to stop the constant calls we informed one of them that we were going with a deal that was NOT utility savers. It was then we started to recieve the more abusive calls. If this is down to a rogue representative then that is fine but this review shows similarities to others on here.
