I was very wary of purchasing a car on line because of all the scams that happen. After a few checks I was satisfied that UK Car Discount was a genuine Company and arranged to purchase a new car. I found the people at UK Car Discount to be very helpful and am now an owner of a new Suzuki Vitara. I have no hesitation in awarding them 5 stars.

Brian and the guys are a joy to deal with. They return calls, deal with questions knowledgeably and most importantly the car turned up when they said it would, at the price we agreed and personally delivered by a very friendly chap who had got up at 4am to get here at the time agreed. And then add payment terms that only require me to settle the balance once I have checked the car over, it is probably the best online seller out there at great discounts. I placed my order and paid a deposit for a Volvo XC60 with UK Car Discount at the begining of December 2017. I was given an expected delivery date of mid February and sold my old car in early February on account of this. March and April came and went but no car, just various excuses for the delay. UK Car Discount offered to refund my deposit but I decided to hang on having been told that it will arrive eventually. On 9th May I received an email saying my deposit was being returned, even though I had not asked for it. The explanation from UK Car Discount was that they could get no response from Volvo about a number of delayed cars and were consequently withdrawing all Volvo cars from their product line. Obviously an extremely dissapointing experience, although the guys at UK Car Discount were always helpful and responsive. Nevertheless I have decided to purchase my next car through more conventional means.

3rd car purchased over 10 years good value and excellent service.

I placed an order for a new Volvo XC60 with UK car discounts on the 6th March 2018, paying a £1000.00 deposit. I was informed that it was just like placing an order with my local dealer with no risk. I received confirmation that my order 49GW7 had been placed with Volvo and I should expect delivery some 12-13 weeks later. On the 14th May some 10 weeks later I was told that due to circumstances beyond their control Volvo had cancelled their discount terms and they could no longer supply the vehicle. UK Car discounts immediately refunded my deposit. The team at Uk Car Discounts has always been friendly and helpful. However everyone should be aware there are risks when placing an order through UK Car Discounts. This resulted in me taking out a 26k car loan with an independent loan company; I have 4 years of debt and no car to show for it. Disappointed and let down does not even come close. I believe Uk Car Discounts could have tried harder to offer me an alternative solution, but sadly no communication received other than the cancellation.

simple and easy way to buy a car

My experience with UK Car Discount was difficult to say the least but I have to say up front I have a car albeit not the model I originally ordered and it was 9 weeks late! On the positive side I think I got a good price but I am not entirely sure of this as it was difficult to price check and as we had waited so long for the car to arrive I did not want to give up the opportunity of the "quick" delivery promised on the alternate model. The guys at UK Discount cars are all "nice to deal with" but I found that communication with them was one sided as I had to chase to get information. When I ordered the car I was told that it would be supplied from a "local" dealership, it actually came from Birmingham and as I live near Chelmsford the car has 190 miles on the clock which was disappointing. To coin it all I received the cars registration document today to find it was registered in the wrong name, I have asked UK Cars to rectify the error and after 24 hours I have not had a reply meaning that I am not sure whether this affects insurance or after owning the car for 4 days it will have 2 registered keepers of its new and correct registration document. I am the only customer that has rated this company poor, this is not sourer grapes I just wanted to share the frustration I had to endure when purchasing my vehicle and to share my experience.

Process was really easy. Car ordered direct from the factory to the exact spec we wanted. Took about 10 weeks, but that is the manufacturer. We were informed of the date the car would arrive, it arrived bang on, and unexpectedly by lorry so no miles on the clock even. Third car we have bought via internet, first time with UK Car Discount, and will use them again when we next change our car. Sue

After deciding to purchase my new car from UK Car Discount I ordered the car to my specification over the phone and paid the deposit by credit card for additional security. I was then told the car would be a factory order and would take approximately 14 weeks to arrive, no problem as I wanted the new '18'plate anyway. 15 weeks later in the glorious sunshine the car was delivered to my doorstep on the back of a car transporter in pristine condition and to the exact specification to which I ordred 'Perfect'. After checking it over inside and out to my satisfaction I then paid the final balance via bank transfer to UK Car Discount, almost instantly I received my final invoice back by email and a courtesy call from Brian at UK Car Discount. The whole process was so easy and hassle free and the savings made buying from these guys and not a main dealer was fantastic, over 6k better off. Today a week and a half after delivery I've received the V5 form from the DVLA confirming me as first registered keeper. As for the lads at UK Car Discount, I found them all to be very helpful and professional in the whole process, always at the end of the phone to answer any questions. A BIG THANKS UK CAR DISCOUNT. Beware , the company were excellent up to delivery of the car , but on querying why i have not been supplied with a V5 Registration Certificate which you would assume came with the car - nothing- totally ignoring my emails. It would appear that you have to source this yourself at your own expense. I was not informed of this before buying the car/
