Our guide Tran Dinh, was amazing, he took care of every aspect of our trip, he had amazing knowledge and passion for Vietnam and we had a wonderful experience.

Interesting and beautiful places visited. Excellent guides particularly Alex our main guide. He managed a large group very well. He gave us great information about Spain and the places we were visiting.

Travel Department do their homework & pick out good hotels & usually give a good service. They also have good friendly guides with good local knowledge. I have made about 12/14 trips with them over the years and apart from one, have been very happy.

Well organised

Really enjoyed our trip to Rome. Transport to and from airport were excellent, hotel very comfortable and good food. Walking trip very interesting but I would have liked if the Vatican was included in itinerary.

This was my second trip with Travel Department and, once again, they excelled. We stayed in high quality hotels, had excellent guides and everything ran like clockwork. All we had to do was turn up and enjoy ourselves.

Trip was excellent, guide brilliant, hotels and tours couldn’t have been better. Loved the food. However, flights were a disaster, smaller space than Ryanair, for 9 and 11 hour flights it was too cramped. Would never fly with Turkish Airlines again. It was the low point of an otherwise excellent trip.

It was a trip of a lifetime

Our guide was fabulous and so knowledgeable. She was so welcoming and easy to communicate with. She was very helpful as we all wanted different information but she was very attentive. The hotel was right beside train station and so convenient to shops and eateries.

Kerala is a wonderful destination with very welcoming people and Goa lives up to expectations in terms of a very desirable beach side resort. Our hotels were excellent as of course was the food but the thing that made it special was our guide Cleetus and our very accommodating driver.

Our tour of The garden Route with The Travel Department exceeded our expectations! From start to finish we had a superb guide and excellent itinerary. The 3 night safari at the end of the holiday was the most memorable part. We highly recommend this trip. So glad we got there!

From start to finish everything was taken care of by travel department. The guide was so full of knowledge about Porto and had a wonderful way of sharing that wisdom. There are a lot of hills, twist and turns which made the trip charming. Everywhere you are met with kindness and service. Would have liked one more day as there wS do much to experience.

A most enjoyable trip. Travel Department staff very helpful and easy to deal with. Both hotels used were excellent as was Helena, our guide. The only difficult part of the trip was getting to Dublin Airport from Cork for early morning departure. It would be terrific if you could have more destinations out of Cork - they would be very popular!

Great location. Great guides. Great company. Highlights of Andalucia proved to be one of our best Travel Department experiences yet.

We went on the Highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia holiday. It was a fantastic holiday with excellent guides and superb hotels. You should be aware that this is NOT a relaxing holiday as you are on the go all of the time.

This was a very enjoyable tour of Northwest India, the golden triangle. The Guide was very knowledgeable and gave us much information about the sites but also about India in general. The Hotels were excellent and the food was enjoyable. The sites visited were breathtaking especially the Taj Mahal. While the touring was enjoyable I would have liked a free day at the end to relax. I did not participate in the last day's tour, I chilled out in the hotel grounds.

I would recommend Lake Garda package as a solo holiday. Lovely hotel, great staff. Plenty to do, the 25 people group was just right in size.
